Cool little smart plug

Works great but...

Couldn't get it to work remotely, only locally. Went online to research the matter and found I wasn't the only one having this issue. After downloading a firmware update the problem finally resolved as I think TP Link has been made aware of the problem. I have my subwoofer plugged into it and now all I have to say is, "Amazon, or Ok, Google, turn on the subwoofer", and of course turning it off is just as easy.

To get the signal from one end of the house to the other. With this little plug in we have no issues ANYMORE!

Perfect to make dumb things smart

But i have 3 of these (bedroom box fan, xmas tree, and kitchen cabinet lights) and thus far they work perfectly. Great connection to my wifi and integration to alexa. No connection issues.
