Works great but...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great but for some reason the setup took a couple of hours not the few minutes I was used to. Couldn't get it to work remotely, only locally. Went online to research the matter and found I wasn't the only one having this issue. After downloading a firmware update the problem finally resolved as I think TP Link has been made aware of the problem. I have my subwoofer plugged into it and now all I have to say is, "Amazon, or Ok, Google, turn on the subwoofer", and of course turning it off is just as easy.

Perfect to make dumb things smart

But i have 3 of these (bedroom box fan, xmas tree, and kitchen cabinet lights) and thus far they work perfectly. Great connection to my wifi and integration to alexa. No connection issues.
