So far I've had one on continuously for 3 months powering a Tablo DVR. Don't know if they are rated for continuous duty, so far so good.

This outlet connected to the hub but it took a few tries with the classic app. Recommend adding this outlet using the new smartthings app. The built in repeater for ?zigbee or zwave (check the description of the product), continuously reports as stopped working.

It gets “buggy” and will flash a blue light because it isn’t connecting which is REALLY annoying if it is in the bedroom and you’re trying to sleep. Best part is it only occupies one plug space.

Doesn't always work

Also, set the timers for it to come on and go off at certain times but it never came on at the specified time. When it do work, it's great.

Thank you for your review. We always recommend ensuring your router's Wi-Fi signal is adequately strong in the smart device's location. Within the Kasa app there's a feature that allows you to measure Wi-Fi signal strength of your smart devices. When the app is connected, please check the signal strength in the Device Settings menu. Ideally, the reading should be greater than -70 dBm.
If the signal is within the ideal range and you're still experiencing these symptoms, please ensure your Kasa app is up to date, then update your smart device's firmware using the steps in our FAQ: http://www.tp-link.com/us/faq-1256.html

TP-Link has a very good smart device line and very stable connections that don't fail to respond as some other brands and apps do.
