I have a weird lamp by my desk that doesn't have a shade, but rather crystals that shine when illuminated by the bulb (it's hard to describe, honestly but I bought it on Amazon and has USB ports at the base). I needed a light bulb where I could easily adjust the amount of light and decided to finally buy a smart light bulb (it helped that I bought this one on sale). It was super easy to install, and the app is equally super easy to navigate!

No hub needed. Installation is easy and user friendly. I love the features and complete color options.

I am a huge fan of TP-link Kasa products. I have 2 smart bulbs and about 12 of the smart plugs. The Kasa app works great and also syncs well with Alexa. This bulb is great for a front porch light, as it’s easy to switch colors for various holidays, and the schedule in app makes it easy to set the times and not have to worry about turning the light on and off manually. If found on sale, this is a great value.

These are great smart bulbs! No hub needed, super easy setup. Works great with Google Assistant! Recommend.

Difficult to use. Involved a lot more setting up and tweaking then just clicking a light switch. Maybe folks with more experience and preference for smart technology would do better with it.

I really like the colors this bulb can make. Actually got it for a family member who was stuck in bed for a few weeks (and no it was not a virus). It allowed the person to turn on a light in the room via echo. The wide range of colors was a bonus. We don't have experience with other makes and models, but I certainly will recommend this to others. The Android app is very well done, simple but complete. Its a 4 star because 5 stars are 1 in 50 for me.

If you don’t feel like having to buy a bridge to use smart lights and you already have or plan on using Alexa or Google then this is the bulb for you. The Kasa app makes it easy to connect the bulb to your WiFi and control them using the app or smart home device. I currently have 10 on a network and they all work simultaneously without interfering with each other.

The Kasa line of home automation products has quickly become my favorite, and this light bulb added to my positive experiences with this line of products. The bulb itself performs as advertised, no quirks with it or the app like I consistently find with other brands (talking to you Belkin Wemo!). Price was great, and my daughter was excited to be able to change and automate her lights.

I’m a big fan of Kasa smart devices. I think the color saturation on these is good and the whites and true while maintaining good color depth and brightness. Only complaint I have is that one of them needs to be totally reset every time the power goes out. But realistically not a big deal as it takes 30 seconds to reinitialize it. Over great little bulbs.

I bought 4 of these lights to use in my living room and bed room. 3 out of them haven't had any issues, but 1 of them has occasional flickering so I have doubts about these things lasting through their expected lifespans. They were pretty easy to set up, but I imagine someone that isn't very tech saavy having a hard time. The set up process isn't exactly intuitive but it did intergrate well with alexa. I can recommend these but I guess buy a warranty so if you have any issues you can get them replaced.

Got this for my son. First brought a different one at Walmart but when we got home someone switched out the light for a ordinary one so our 45$ went down the drain. My son looked online at bestbuy and saw this one. Works great and my son loves it. Planning on buying more for the rest of the house. My son is really happy with it so that makes us extremely happy too.
