Good for items near you but not pets

I can see where it would be most helpful locating keys or other small items. However ads mentioned tracking pets... given the 70' range that's not an accurate statement. Locating items or pets further than 70' is dependent on someone else with a TrackR being nearby and having theirs turned on. That's an 'iffy' situation I wouldn't want to depend on if it was my laptop, keys, billfold, or other items that are valuable and have personal information on or in them. Also, I don't know if leaving the TrackR on and the app activated, if it's using data and if so how much. I couldn't find that information in the instructions. Easy to download app and turn on the actual button. I was able to get it engraved. But would only recommend for use inside home locating keys or if you left something in your car and don't want to go out to look in car. So if you misplace things in your home often or leave stuff in your vehicle and forget where it's at, would be worth the cost.

I received this as a gift. Appearance is nice also received protective cover to protect from environment which is a plus. Download is easy to use. I am disappointed that the volume isn’t loud enough if I’m in a loud environment can’t hear the alarm. I’ve only been using it for a few weeks and I will need a new battery soon.

I had a Tile previously, and loved it. I tried the Tracker, but I'm not sure how to increase the volume. It's not loud enough.

I did research on this item and another item called the tile and even thought this item received better reviews it didn't matter since you can't hear the device if it's under a pillow or in your couch cushion no matter how close you are.

Great Tool for People that Loose Things Like Me!

Oh wow, I lose track of my phone and my keys EVERYDAY. This is pretty much a godsend for me.
I attached it to my keys and set it up on my phone. If I lose my phone, I can ping my phone with the Trackr and they if I lose my keys, I ping from my phone. I love the separation alert, if I get too far away from either with one of the devices the alert will go off.
The phone application set up was clear and easy, I had it set up within minutes on my Samsung Galaxy Note. I used it the very next day when I lost the phone in my house. Bang, there it was.
My family actually joked around about attaching one to my dog as he likes to run and escape as soon as the door opens. He did escape on Sunday, we will be getting him one as soon as we can.
Last month, my family just moved from one state to another. This stayed by my side and gave me peace of mind. When you are driving for days in a car with cats, a dog and a child, things can become really chaotic and things are misplaced very easily! I used this SEVERAL times for a phone under the seat or left in the suitcase or in the back of the car. Or simply for peace of mind that it was not left in the hotel.
Pros
• Small device
• Easy set up
• Can stick to your device or use the ring to attach to something else, like a pet’s collar.
• Crowd GPS will make it easier to locate an item, lost pet if I is not within direct range.
Cons
• It did disconnect once and didn’t ring my phone. I was within range, but that could have been because my phone needed to restart.
I have seen that some people have had mixed results, but I have not had that problem except for once. I don’t know if I should attribute that to the phone or the TrackR because to be fair, it could just as easily be my phone.

this product already save me a few times. We have this hooked up to my wife's keys and she loses the keys all the time. Sometimes you have to be very close to the tracker so you can get a good reading where the tracker is.

The truth is my keys really do have legs and like to move to places I know I didn't leave them. Being sync' to my phone via Bluetooth it's actually fun to hunt them down if I'm not in a hurry. I also have mine setup that if my phone and keys get too far separated from each other my phone starts alerting with a song in my playlist. The song was picked by girlfriend and it's called "Crying like a Bit**" by Godsmack. She claims thats what I do when I can't find them, my son laughs and backs this claim up. I've since bought more and have found other uses for them. Remember that laughing son of mine? He's 17 and guess what's hidden in his car? It drives him crazy when I call and ask why he's at point "B" when he told me he was going to point "A". Oh, the dog has one on his collar now, he's one of those social butterfly types that doesn't remember his name when called unless you bribe him with treats. These things are great for keeping track of almost anything. No the gf does not have in her car, i'm honestly just too scared of the payback to do it!! The only reason it's not 5 stars is because when you activate it in the event of finding keys it's not loud at all, at least it's not to me but the limitless things you can use them for out weighs that by far.

The best solution to prevent losing items

The Trackr Bravo, like other trackers, uses Bluetooth and a smart phone to find items in close proximity. Also, it uses GPS and a network of other Trackr owners to find items not in close proximity. Where the Bravo pulls ahead is in its super thin, elegant metal design and its replaceable battery. My only complaint was some false separation alarms, so I turned off this feature.

It's Bluetooth so it doesn't work from very far away. We are using it to keep track of our babies car seat and our baby but you pretty much have to be within visual contact with the item. Crowd GPS is a feature that should work if more people buy this product. I recommend the product because the more people that have it the better the crowd GPS will be.

TrackR Bravo, Amazing for PETS and all Valuables.

The TrackR Bravo does an amazing thing to your valuables, tracks them. It uses your own phones Bluetooth to track the item while also utilizing the Crowd GPS. This allows us to locate any items attached to the TRackR Bravo. All it does is update you when another TrackR user walks by the lost item and updates you. The battery life is about a year which is pretty cool.
I use this on my keys and my dog. Its a way for me to keep track or for safety in case he gets lost. DOG OWNERS, i encourage to get one! Imagine you're on a trip or just in your local area, dogs can run and walk long distances. Odds are that if he runs away you will not find him in your area, but with the TrackR Bravo, your smartphone will automatically use the GPS and tell you the last updated area to look for it,
Also i love the setting where you click on your trackR Bravo (for example on your keys) and your phone will ring no matter if its in silent. This has helped me find my iPhone plenty of times in my own house.
I 100% recommend this product, it gives you a peace of mind.

We bought this for our teenage son, who is constantly losing everything...keys, wallet, phone, ipod. Christmas morning, he opened the box & said,"I really needed this last night when I lost my keys." So far, it has helped him keep track of things.

Used it on my cat to locate him around the house. When using the app the location would shift to a place about 2 blocks away some days. When within our house which isn’t large Iused the pager function. The range is really only about 10’ if on the other side of the wall. Beyond that it does not work and the sound it makes is so weak you can barely hear it. Purchased it because it is so compact and light it could be in a collar and the battery life should last months but found it to be almost useless. Not like the commercial.

Bought two of these to track my wallet and keys. As a college student I am always on the go and the iphone/android app makes it super easy for me to find my keys when I need to run to class and to make sure I didnt leave them anywhere. I have had a wonderful experience with this product, although I have had some issues with the batteries dying on my alot sooner than anticipated (replacement batteries can be purchased at Walmart (CR1616 is the type of battery)). It is comforting to know where your valuables are at all times and to make sure that you can find them when you need them! Thanks TrackR

I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas and it worked as intended. He has a bad habit of misplacing his keys so this is an added piece of mind. The app was easy to set up and it is small so it hangs on his keys without weighing much

Worked well. Was able to locate my keys several times. If I had a complaint it would be that the batteries die without any notification so you really have to keep an eye on them.
