This was an anniversary gift for my husband and he was honestly so incredibly happy. He loves it. Says it’s extremely easy to use and convenient with the wifi feature. He even convinced his friend to purchase one.

Absolutely perfect. I totally love this smoker and I am totally pleased with my purchase. It takes a little extra time to smoke your meat and veggies to get the temperature just right but in the end it is totally worth it. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to eat an incredible meal. It’s a respected name in the business and there’s obviously a reason for that!

Bought as a gift to my husband and he is having a blast. All meats taste so much better than on the gas grill. And he even just tried jerky for the first time. It took a bit of time to get it to connect to our wifi since we have a eero system but finally got it using a guest wifi access.

The very first grill that does all!! Have done a lot of cooking with this grill and the Smokey taste is great on the meat! Safe, no messy coal clean up, easy to clean, easy to use, easy app functions, great cooking instructions on the app, etc.. am very satisfied with this purchase. Only regret was not getting the upper models which have the super smoke function built in. However This one does it’s job well without it. Extremely a good buy for the new home and backyard.

Easy to put together. I did it by myself. I’m still learning to cook on it. You can cook really low heat which I’m not use to. I love the thermometer and being able to cook from your phone. I bought a separate cover for it

So far so good. I purchased for my 13 year old son who has taken an interest in cooking. So far he has only smoked a turkey and butternut squash. Both turned out great. Assembly was pretty easy. My 13 year old did most of the work.

Pros:
Versatility: The Traeger Pro 575 excels in its versatility, allowing me to smoke, grill, bake, and more. It's a one-stop solution for a variety of cooking styles.
Convenient Temperature Control: The Digital Pro Controller makes it incredibly easy to set and maintain precise temperatures. I appreciate the consistency it brings to my cooking.
Wi-Fi Connectivity: The addition of Wi-Fi connectivity is a game-changer. Being able to monitor and control the grill remotely via the smartphone app provides a new level of convenience.
Durable Construction: Traeger's reputation for build quality holds true with the Pro 575. The grill feels sturdy, and I've experienced no issues with its durability over time.
Generous Cooking Area: With 575 square inches of primary cooking space, the Pro 575 provides enough room for small to medium-sized gatherings. It meets my needs without being overly bulky.
Cons:
Price: While the features justify the cost, the Traeger Pro 575 is positioned at a mid-range price point. It may be an investment for some, but in my opinion, the performance justifies the expense.
Learning Curve: For those new to pellet grills, there might be a slight learning curve. However, Traeger provides helpful resources, and once you get the hang of it, the results are worth it.
Overall Impression:
The Traeger Pro 575 has become my go-to grill for its outstanding performance and versatility. From perfectly smoked meats to seared steaks, it handles everything with ease. The addition of modern features like Wi-Fi connectivity sets it apart in terms of convenience. While it comes with a price tag, the quality construction and reliable performance make it a worthwhile investment for anyone serious about their outdoor cooking.
Would I Recommend?: Yes, absolutely. The Traeger Pro 575 is a fantastic choice for those who want a reliable and versatile pellet grill with modern features.

This could be the single best investment i have ever made. I absolutely love this grill. I am 51 years old and i eat chicken at least twice a week. My first time smoking a chicken on this grill using the traeger recipe from the app, my wife an i had the best tasting chicken in my entire life. I smoked a brisket as well, first attempt and i did an awful job, i would give myself a D as a grade on my process and following the pit masters instructions and still, my brisket was more tasty than any restaurant i have had brisket from. This is an awesome addition to your home and making smoke onion burgers is awesome, anything you cook on this grill and fill it with smoke, its going to be tasty... 5 stars thumbs up woot woot woot

I have a Pro 575 and bought one for my son and future daughter-in-law. It has been a game changer. So many great recipes for smoking things. I do ribs, chickens, briskets, lamb chops - you name it. I had never smoked in my life and with the Traeger, the wi-fi and internal probes make it super easy to operate from a phone app or evan my apple watch. When grilling burgers and chicken the meat turns out great - and juicy. No more charring chicken that is super thick. The only knock I have is it doesn't sear stakes or chops. We fixed that by using butter in an iron skillet as the last step, which makes them pretty fantastic.

After researching pellet smokers for a year I purchased the Traeger Pro 575 with WiFire. It is solidly built (weight 175 lbs.) and has been a joy to use. The included assembly guide was well thought out and assembly was straight forward. Its 575 square inches of cooking capacity allow for up to 24 burgers, 5 rib racks, or 4 chickens, which is more than enough. The hopper holds close to 20 pounds of pellets for very long cooking times. The maximum temperature is 500F and low temperature smoking at 200F held at +/- 10F.
The Traeger App and digital probe make it easy to get into smoking. I love being able to monitor and control the cooker remotely. I've had excellent results making spatchcock chicken, burgers, smoked sausage, BBQ chicken quarters, and even smoked head of cauliflower.

Great Smoker - In Spite of Legacy Technology

Day-to-day use of this smoker? Great. Getting the WiFi operational upon initial setup. Terrible.
As a IT professional for many years, I'm always amazed at how difficult consumer technology is to configure. I find few true turn-key products. Traeger needs to needs to eliminate the fuss with 2.4GHz vs 5GHz, conflicts with mesh networks, having to be within 10 feet of a wireless broadcast point, rebooting entire networks, compromising security just to get up and running - and create a wireless radio worthy of the 21st century. The Internet of Things is cool, but not foolproof. Given the technology in this smoker makes up about 40% of the overall cost (compared to the non-wifi version), I was really expecting the setup to be MUCH easier.
All that said, now that the setup pain is over, I find cooking with unit pleasant and easy, and like most things, the learning curve ensues. Definitely needed to calibrate the thermometer - it was about 10-15 degrees off on my initial cook. Simple to clean, onboard menu and configuration (via the app as well) nicely laid out and intuitive.
The street price for this unit might be a tad high, however if you catch one on sale then the overall value proposition vs other products goes up.
I do wish Traeger would include the front-folding tray table. I bought this separately, but at the street price point I should be included.

I had a competing brand before finally returning it to buy this smoker. All these pellet grills seem to do the same job, however, the level of temperature control was the convincing feature to just spend the extra cash. The other smoker I had wouldn’t let you set the temp anywhere between 250 and 300, ruling out certain styles of cooking. The Traeger let’s you set in 5° increments, letting you have full control. Obviously no grill will maintain a perfect temperature throughout the cook, but at least being able to set the temp you want it to maintain is the main draw of pellet smokers.
Setup was pretty easy. They give you literally every tool you need to assemble, and the instructions are easy to follow. You can get buy doing it by yourself, but it’ll go faster with someone helping you.
This smoker is a nice manageable size, unless you plan on cooking for the whole neighborhood. The app works well in my experience, and is quick to report the temps inside the grill.
My only complaint is that it is a bit tricky getting all the ash out with my vacuum with how they setup the inside of the grill, but this is really a minor issue. I can get the vast majority of ash and haven’t had any issues with my cooks.
100% would buy again.

I had no idea how much I would utilize this grill/smoker. Its amazing how versatile it is and how well it can hold the temperature you set. From 18+ hour briskets to an hour and an half roasted chicken it doesn't miss a beat. Since it's essentially an indirect heat oven I have even used it for baking things such as cornbread and it worked like a champ. My only regret is not getting the larger version of this model (780 pro). The one thing I would recommended is getting the foldable front shelf. Save yourself some money and skip the tray liners, heavy duty aluminum foil works just as well and is immensely cheaper.

Absolutely love this smoker. The versatility to grill something at 500° but also smoke something for hours is what sets this Traeger miles above everyone else. The ability to control the temp, probe, and shut down from the app is what makes this grill nothing short of amazing. I have the 575 and I find the room it has to be perfect for up to 6 people. Maybe even 8 depending on what you're coming. If you do steaks all over the grill, be prepared for a varying of temperatures tho. With an indirect heat source tho, that's to be expected. I kinda wish there were 2 probes or ability to have more, but nothing that takes away from it. The only thing that I wish it had was maybe a low pellet warning. Because otherwise if you're not on top of it, you can have a flame out.

Love this grill. It's easy for beginners who are trying to step into the pit world. I love the wifi smart features I can keep an eye on the temp and time that is left. The only thing I hated was trying to connect to WiFi. It took multiple attempts

A little pricey that is why took me a while to buy it but I tell you it is worth it. Been using it eversince I bought it. Love the wifire that you can control it from your phone. I noticed that everytime you open the grill the temperature rapidly goes down. Nonetheless, I’m happy with my purchased. Highly recommended, easy to set up too.

I was back and forth between the Traeger Pro 575 and another brand, and this was the right choice. For a beginner, intermediate, or pro, this grill/ smoker does it all. I used this smoker every weekend during the summer for vegetables, seafood, beef, pork, and chicken, even mac 'n cheese, for small and large gatherings, and it stood the test- every time.

I like this grill and smoker. I got it two days before Labor Day. I put it together with my 12 years old daughter, and it took us only 2 hours. I use it on Labor Day. It was great, I used the app.,and my BBQ baby back ribs were perfect and nicely done.
