The first Transformers has been a more positive staple in Michael Bay's pantheon of movies. Thankfully, the visuals are not skipped on the blu ray, and less the 4k either. If your system needs a good workout, here you go!

I’m a big fan of the first movie and already own it on Blu-Ray. The 4K version is very nice. The picture and sound is what you’d expect from 4K. Some areas there’s maybe some noise like if a picture was taken in the dark and had high iso causing noise. This movie on 4K is still worth it.

Not native 4K but the HDR adds serious pop to it and it is an improvement over the Blu. The Atmos track is where this shines!! Wow. Turned it up to 11 and loved every second!! #1 and #3 are by far the best in the series IMO.

First in the Transformers series and I was not disappointed in the movie at all. Cast was well put together and full of action and suspense.

If anything, a true testament to how far CGI effects have come; the Autobots and Decepticons look fantastic. It's a fun movie overall, and it's a shame the rest of the series couldn't follow through (although, I do like Dark of the Moon quite a bit). Upgraded from an old DVD to Blu-ray, this looks even better. A fun watch on a rainy day.

As a child of the 80s, seeing my favorite Transformers on the big screen was a dream come true and this movie does not disappoint. Sadly, the rest of the movie series doesn't quite measure up but this entry is easily the best and most entertaining. I really like the steelbook case. Kudos Best Buy!

This in most fans eyes is the first best movie of the Transformers series. the rest of them suck. But this one in 4K really is fantastic visuals to enjoy it all over again and realize how good the first time we saw transformers come to life on the big screen.

This movie does the Transformers justice. Unlike movies 2 and 3, it does not over emphasize the human factor in the story line. Additionally, like the fourth movie, it sticks to the premise that there is a war in progress between the Autobots and the Decepticons. Well done from beginning to end.

I love this movie. The surround sound is great and the 4k upgrade is well worth it. My old blu ray kind of has trouble keeping up with the fast scenes and this version is much smoother.

I grew up on transformers so I was skeptical, however for me this movie delivered big! I loved the story line. Without any spoilers there is wonderful special effects, fast paced action, and even humor. For me the movie went very quickly and I couldn't believe it had been over 2 hours!

What are amazing adaptation of the 80s cartoon. Loved the special effects and how they brought the transformers to life.

While I do enjoy the movie I bought this for the steelbook packaging. Im a collector and get very excited over this type of special edition. If you're a collector or just love the movie, you won't be disappointed if you decide to buy this version!

Great movie from start to finish with plenty of action and great picture & sound qualities. The steelbook is excellent for housing the 4k version. Thanks again Bestbuy...keep'em com'in!!!

The original of the bay-formers series. While the plot might be light, you're probably not watching this movie to get a oscar-caliber story. You're there to watch big freakin' robots fight. And with this disc, you'll be able to see that in stunning video and audio.

Great movie. The blu-ray packaging is simple ... single disk, no muss, no fuss. Sit down and enjoy the movie. If you're the type of person who likes all the extras and special features (I'm not), you should get the special edition of this film instead.

I love the case and for the price it was a no brainer. I cant say this enough the case is very collectable and I bought all the movies again just to have them in exclusive cases. Thanks Best Buy I hope many more movies will be available like this in the future.

I remember watching the original cartoons in the 80's. Love how Bay modernized the franchise. Can't wait to add the rest of the movies to my collection. Now if someone would only make a Centurions movie my childhood would be complete

This is my favorite Transformers movie in the Michael Bay Series ! WARNING ( It will not play on the Xbox One X 4K Blu Ray Player )

they need to replace michael bay, but they don't cause the money makes money,.... but they should realize if they made a good transformers film it would make even more money ! blu ray is technically great, good extra features etc.
