Posted .Windows Defender is a good security option if you have nothing else, jrbs, but it's not a terribly strong program. Defender often comes in near the bottom of the security software testing panels. However, Trend Micro is often listed near the top of that same list, even earning the award for strongest protection earlier this year. I wouldn't say that it's overkill to make the change from Defender to Trend Micro Internet Security; I'd say it's just about perfect.

I have never tried anything else,because I don't feel the need to.I think the monthly security reports,is really cool.I don't use my computer much,but it is nice to know I can have complete confidence in this security device.With all the crazy stuff that goes on with hackers etc,I trust my choice with Trend Micro..THANKS!

It doesn't disrupt you while you work on the laptop and I'm comfortable with its protection. I used to have Kasparsky,Norton and AVG years ago and couldn't stand how disruptive they were on the computer but with this one I don't feel like it takes anything away from the computer,it just feels safe having it.
