That said, I never loaded it and still use MS Essentials security for all my PC's. Essentials has successfully guarded my PC's for 7years and is free and very light in the background.

In side-by-side third party tests, Trend Micro has consistently out-performed Microsoft Essentials in protecting computers from viruses, malware, and online protection. We would recommend that you consider giving Trend Micro a try; it's been 7 years since you tried something new – you might be surprised.

It's nice to have the peace of mind but not sure if I will renew the license when it comes time.
