But it was not. I kept on getting the free 7 day trial instead of the 6 months. Even took it into the Geek Squad to figure out (after calling about it). THEY couldn't figure it out. So they gave me a new code for the software. Once installed it is fine. But I didn't like the hassle of getting it installed.

While I felt security software less needed in a SSD or other similar MAC solid state drive.. I agreed. After the setup and install by Geek Squad, my Mac Pro performance response time was noticeably slower. I have kept it... I want to protect my investment in the Mac Pro. Just not sure if needed or not.
