I had purchased it before for a different laptop and you cannot get rid of it once you put it on the computer. Even it you have problems with it and want to put a different product. It also changes your internet settings.

Even when i shut down my other programs at start up, im still looking at 3-4 minutes. With some research one would probably find a better alternative for your security protection. Renewal cost seem on the high side.
