The problem I have is that I had a paid up subscription to the version on my old computer (that I can no longer use because, apparently, 4 years is too long to expect them to have parts to fix it). I wanted to use the already paid up time to extend the time I had on the subscription for this computer. Trend tells me that I can't do that because I got this version through Best Buy instead of ordering it from Trend so I'm losing 2 months of prepaid service. The clerk who sold me this never indicated that this would happen (and yes, I asked. She simply said that I'd have to contact Trend to do it..) My problem here isn't really with Trend, though you'd think they'd be more responsive to their customers, but Best Buy should be much more upfront about these things. Had I downloaded the program from Trend they would have extended the time by what I'd already paid.
