This was a "free gift" when I placed online order for pickup. Already have my preferred security software and was not interested in this. After noticing it was a 3-month sub, and concerned about auto renewal, contacted BB and was advised if didn't want software and not have recurring fee to not download. I have not, but continue to get emails about downloading. Hopefully, this will stop after the 3-month period passes.

I appreciate Best Buy offering free things. Microsoft Security and Malwarebytes does the job better! But I don't begrudge those who want to use this . . .

Unnecessary, Windows Defender will do the job you need, this "add-on" is only something i got because I forgot to remove it from my cart when purchasing a hard drive i actually needed and wanted.

this free trial came with the purchase of an ipad. i never installed it. do not need more uninvited software on the system. furthermore, do not want to pay for a subscription. there are better antivirus software packages out there

The one thing that makes the score so low is the fact the security package starts the moments the order is completed. When it should start when the item is securing has arrived. This is a gift and I can't really rate it.

This came free with the purchase of my galaxy tablet but couldn't download it. I think it's for pc only. I stopped trying to download it after several tries. I can't fully rate it but 2 stars should fit my review.

While this is a free product it is useless. Windows defender is better and more sucure! If you think that you need additional anti-virus protection, use MALWAREBYTES. It’s free

Can't figure out how to download the security. I ended up getting one on my own. Luckily it came with the purchase. I may still use it if I can figure it out. Until then... This is my overall review of the product.

Came free with a purchase, didn't bother downloading it as these antivirus programs are just bloatware and spyware you pay for.

I did not like this Internet security + antivirus. Got it for free but was so complicated to see if was doing the work. Kept looking all the time pop up boxes for next time renewal.

Does not work on my MacBook Pro.! Will not download.! Very unhappy with it.! Don’t want it.! And don’t need it.! You can keep it.! Thanks anyways.! I want to cancel it.!

What you're looking at here is essentially a paid advertisement from Trend Micro to get you hooked with 3-months free and push you onto a paid subscription. None of this is necessary Windows Defender (free) which is included with your system is much more effective and just works. Sad to see a product like this taking advantage of good people, who just don't know any better.

Sometimes I hate getting these software bundled into purchases from best buy. It seems recently with electronics purchases from best buy, I've had to make returns because of annoying, yet obvious issues from day one. Having this software added on (then the value subtracted from a return) is annoying. Most times best buy has given this return without question. But the last couple times I had to go back into the store, or another store, to get this reimbursed. Check your receipt if you ever have to return something. Make sure you get this refunded unless you really want it.

Used this, but didn't get too in depth. I feel like computer and device manufacturers are doing enough for anti-virus that third party software is extraneous.

They give you 3 free month and they make you buy this product at a high price. If it is trully coming complimentary, keep it this way. It is not the best product in my opinion

A 3-month subscription is kind of pointless. If you are going to get antivirus protection it's either going to be free or a standard 1-year subscription.
