It took me about 15 minutes to set up this device to connect a wireless printer, including setting it up in the wrong mode at first. The documentation could be a little better, but once you figure out what mode you want it to be in, it's pretty simple.

This is a nice little access point that can be set on the shelf or mounted on the wall or ceiling. The range is very good with good through-put.

For the price, this is the best wireless modem I could find after researching online. I got the same one for my parents too. They are easy to set up and work great!

Boss complained that he kept getting disconnected. Bought this AP device and no longer had issues. Plugged it in and it started working.

I needed to extend my wifi to other parts of the house. This seemed like a good solution. The installation wasn't as easy as it should have been. A few more lines of instructions would have cleared things up much quicker. But that wasn't the problem. My biggest problem was once I got it up and running, it would continue to lose the connection. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in. Each time it would connect and I could use it for a bit. But after a while, the connection to the wireless router would be lost and I lost internet connectivity through this device. At least BB let me return it.

Well it has been online for 1 hour now and is amazingly fast. I am getting a solid 11n connection and surfing the web, downloading emails, etc.. are fast. If all goes well with this I may get another one for the back of the house. Setting up this AP is quick and easy as it is not a full blown router. I am using it as an AP in the living room that is hardwired into my home network to get more wireless range as the WiFi router/cable modem from the cable company has terrible WiFi connectivity. if things change I will update this review but for now it works great!

My wireless router is in the back of the house, so I wasn't getting real good connection to living room. I set this up as an access point from an ethernet port so I could get netflix on living room tv. Setup is pretty easy if you are at all tech savy and doesn't take long to be up and running.

    Adequate but bottlenecked

The first rule of computing is that your performance is only as fast as the slowest component involved. If you look at the specs, sure this thing has a wireless data transfer rate of up to 300MBPS. However, the ethernet jack (where you actually plug into your network) is only rated for up to 100MBPS. So in practice, your maximum transfer rate will be dictated by the wired interface. Not really a big deal unless you plan on doing big transfers over your network, but I would have preferred that they dropped the wireless interface to 150MBPS max and cut off a bit of the cost, since you'll never achieve even that transfer rate. Oh well. Still better than wireless-G
