The versatile TEW-638APB Wireless N Access Point is designed to create a scalable high speed wireless n network or to connect a wired device to an existing wireless network. Use multiple 300Mbps Wireless N Access Points together to extend your network using Wireless Distribution System (WDS), Wireless Bridge and AP Client Modes. Expand a wireless network without running additional cabling with Wireless Distribution Service (WDS) technology by connecting multiple access points wirelessly. Use Wireless Bridge Mode to connect devices such as game consoles, printers and digital video recorders (DVR) to your wireless network. Advanced antenna technology (MIMO) increases wireless coverage and WPA / WPA2 encryption protects your wireless network.

It took me about 15 minutes to set up this device to connect a wireless printer, including setting it up in the wrong mode at first. The documentation could be a little better, but once you figure out what mode you want it to be in, it's pretty simple.

For the price, this is the best wireless modem I could find after researching online. I got the same one for my parents too. They are easy to set up and work great!

Boss complained that he kept getting disconnected. Bought this AP device and no longer had issues. Plugged it in and it started working.

I needed to extend my wifi to other parts of the house. This seemed like a good solution. The installation wasn't as easy as it should have been. A few more lines of instructions would have cleared things up much quicker. But that wasn't the problem. My biggest problem was once I got it up and running, it would continue to lose the connection. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in. Each time it would connect and I could use it for a bit. But after a while, the connection to the wireless router would be lost and I lost internet connectivity through this device. At least BB let me return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
