One of the best remake i have played.
Very fast pace battle system. Seamlessly getting in and out battle.
Fluidity is what best describes the battle system. It does not feel like you need to grind to get to a higher level.
I totally fall in love with the characters and story. The voice acting is also memorable.
Angela and Reiz are my favorite characters.

I am a fan of Secret of Mana for the SNES, and even back then, I wanted to play the sequel game. However, it was a Japan exclusive game. Flash forward 30 years later, and the US finally got a remastered version of the sequel, with voice over. The game is everything I liked in the SNeS game, but now with better graphics and enhanced game play mechanics

This game brings back childhood memories playing Secret of Mana. I love this game. Only started playing a couple of weeks and I cannot put the remote down. I already put almost 100 of hours playing the game. Highly recommend it if you are a RPG fan!

Basic but fun old school jrpg. All characters are fun to use, voice acting is silly but not annoying imo.

I read a lot of reviews before buying this and I'm VERY happy I picked it up! Awesome old school jrpg that doesn't actually feel "old". All the characters are interesting, the music is surprisingly good, and battle system is solid! I highly recommend this to anyone into jrpgs!

This is a total revamp of the original game from the Super Famicom. This is a remake just like the original Secret of Mana Watch done a few years ago. The voices in storyline is so much better though. You can’t find the 16 bit version on the Switch Mana collection game.

I have enjoyed this remake of the game, but I myself never played the original. The story is generic and pretty bare bones compared to newer rpgs, but the game play is a lot of fun.
The character designs and environments are really well done, and because each of the six characters have their own stories, the game encourages multiple play troughs.
I would recommend the game at $30 or below.

If you're a fan of some of the more action-heavy JRPGs with real-time combat, like the Tales or Ys series, then this game is 100% for you. The combat is great, it's quick and addictive and has just the right amount of strategy to keep it from being too easy.

There are 3 out of 6 characters to choose from. Changing to different characters on new game plus will cause the story to play out slightly different. Boss fights are a blast and are the game's biggest highlight for me; going all in on a single boss is very satisfying.

The controls are tight and responsive. Tons of variety in the playstyles between characters. Zero bugs or glitches that I've noticed. Feels good to play. Only negative I can think of is some of the voice acting, but it's not bad enough to subtract a star for.

The fact that we are finally able to play a game that's been exclusive to Japan for 25 years is amazing... The action RPG gameplay still holds up and the new graphics are simply amazing. It does the original game justice.

I have always found the first 2 remakes of the trilogy to be somewhat hit or miss. But this one got it right in every possible area! From the beautiful graphics, to the amazing soundtrack, and gameplay, this is definitely a must buy!

Great RPG game on PS4! I remember RPG game name Secret of Mana on Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). This game is like Secret of Mana 2 with 3D graphic instead of 2D graphic like on SNES to PS4.

This was my first time playing fully through Trials of Mana and I'm very happy that I held off playing the original and waited for this remaster. The various quality of life upgrades that were made to the game increased the enjoyment of the game throughout. The graphics are beautiful for being a somewhat budget title and is similar in style to DQXI. I chose Hawkeye, Duran, and Angela as my party and I enjoyed each of their stories. While not great, the stories were good enough to keep my interest throughout my playthrough. The replayability of the game is high because you need to play with other characters in the party to experience their stories. Overall, I recommend this game to RPG players who enjoy the action rpgs of the the 90's.

Trials of Mana is a better remake than Final Fantasy VII Remake. That's right! I said it! It stays true to its original SNES version and is modernized in an easy to play way and doesn't change up too much.
