Enjoyed this movie a lot. I like all of his movies but this one shined a light on a aging character and his adult daughter, Nicely done.

There is not much baseball in this film, though it is about family, and love of the game. Great acting.

Saw this movie on Hbo Go and loved the movie. Amy Adams plays the baseball loving daddys girl with daddy issues while her father is a scout who loves the game but is at risk of losing the job he loves. Their relationship is strainedand seemingly cold but you can see that he loves his daughter and she desperately wants his approval but more so she wants a relationship with her father. Ovet the course of a scouting trip they work through their issues and come to common ground and learn to open up and love each other as Father and daughter

Eastwood at this Best. The views of a aging baseball scout who doesn't seem to care about his daughter. His experiance tells him that greatest comes from sounds of the game, and that should tell you everything, Eastwood one more time.

Awesome movie. It had a lot of relatable moments and a good overall story. I’d highly recommend to anyone who likes Eastwood movies or sport underdog movies.

I found this movie in the $6 bargain bin & was absolutely thrilled. One of Eastwood's roles where he can simply sit back & relax into a character instead of having to worry about directing as well. Amy Adams is spectacular & gorgeous. Great film for the find.

Clint Eastwood is excellent in this fun movie for fans of baseball and non fans alike. This movie deals not only with baseball, but also with family relationships, personal demons, aging, egos, love and careers. Excellent supporting cast of Amy Adams, Justin Timberlake and John Goodman

This really shows how great of an actor AND director Clint Eastwood is. What a great film. Not a blow 'em up, shoot 'em up movie but rather a thinking person's movie. Very well done and the Best Buy price to have this on Blu-ray make it a no-brainer.

Awesome little movie that has sadly passed under most peoples radar,sweet film about relationships really. No bangs,booms or magnum 44's in this,and that,in part,is what makes it so very different to what Hollywood insists on churning out recently.

Classic movie addressing three very important things. When people get older, there are things that they go through that we do not understand. Bad family relationship met head on and finally restored. Baseball, need I say more?

Huge Clint Eastwood and Amy Adams fan so I am biased. I thought it was great. My girlfriend loved it because it is a chick flick but as long as she is happy I am happy.

This is no Million Dollar Baby, but Clint Eastwood gives a believable performance and does his usual confident job in the director's chair. Amy Adams is really coming into her own as one of the top actresses working today and the way she inhabits her characters is wonderful to watch.
