Fun but familiar tale of the aging veteran and eager upstart doing battle. Clint is entertaining as ever, and Amy Adams with Justin Timberlake add some endearing moments. The story is definitely formulaic and followed a pretty predictable path from the start. But, as long as you don't go in looking to be too surprised, the performances are fun to watch.

This really contrasts some of the past and current baseball movies, from the scout's perspective.

A good story line with a happy ending that everyone likes to see with this type of plot.
