    Not the Best season

I was a big fan of the book and loved the first three seasons that HBO produced but they have gotten way off from the core of the story. Some of the chances they made I completely understood. First off they kept some of the characters that died in the book and added some. Laffite was a good character to keep and was good for a while, but then they started to add things to try force him more of him into story. They changed Jason's character and I'm not shore that it was an improvement. Jessica was a good add to the story and I can't find many faults with her. Second they jumped ahead in the story and then tried to good back some but it just jumbled the story. With the way the story was playing out on the show there was no need to introduce the fairy side of the books. They could have just left the hole Stackhouse heritage a mystery and it would have been fine. They didn't do it correctly anyways. Third the hole vampire religion and there god was just junk. not a thing good about that part of the plot. Mostly I enjoyed the series and hope I will come to forgive this season but id the last one doesn't pull it in before they finish I will be greatly disappointed.

If you watch the show regularly you know by now that the show is getting a little ridiculous... This has put some people off. Understand and take the show for what it is: a soap opera. If you accept that you should be able to have fun with the show. I have liked it from the beginning and have mixed feelings about the latest season but still like to see where they are taking the story and I still enjoyed the season overall. Definitely worth watching if you like or used to like the show and still have interest in the story or characters. If it already jumped the shark for you though this will just make it worse.

    Robocop - Not a retread

I was glad to say that this version is a different take on the original Robocop. Of course the special effects are much better considering when the original came out but what I prefer in this version is the absence of the campy, "I'd buy that for a dollar", humor. If you're a fan of robots, action, then there's not many reasons to not like this movie. If you like a complicated plot, there's not a lot of mystery here but I like watching it and I feel entertained; isn't that what movies are, at least in part, supposed to do? Movies are very subjective and your enjoyment may vary.

Vampires, Faries & Werewolfs - OH MY!

Tru-Blood takes a new spin on the ages old horror genre - where we bring Vampires, werewolves, faries and more into the modern world - and we try to live together in piece (or at least in pieces) . The character development has been superb as you really get to know these main characters including the good, the bad and the ugly and all the unimaginable transformatiions that take place for many of them. This is adult fare -so keep the kids away with all the graphic violence and nudity and it would likely give them nightmares for months.

The sixth season is very similar to the past few seasons, in the sense that there is a struggle to give adequate amount of screen time to the ever increasing number of principle characters. The story is fine, but when you have distanced yourself from watching the sixth season, you will be stretching your memory to recall more events that took place throughout the episodes. You will definitely like the season if you are already bleed True Blood, but there is a slight drop in quality with the departure of Alan Ball.

As excited as I was for this season's release, I must say that I am not at all surprised that you still have to pay practically full price for the Blu Ray set, and slightly less for the DVD, given how few episodes there were for the 6th season. At most, maybe this should've cost $20 in Blu Ray format, but even that's stretching it. If a show is so popular, why on earth do they even cut down on production? Costs? If so, then they could've easily done without the horrendous storyline & acting involving werewolves.

With all the seasons this one in particular was the shortest season along with Alan ball the show creator stepping down . With only 10 episodes I was a lil bumped out . I felt some stories felt really rushed like in particular SAM . I did however hate the storyline of terry . In a way the writers did do justice of who he actually was as character . I just didn't like how they came up with the villain for him . Overall I give it a B+ . All the actors are amazing on this show .

I used to thoroughly enjoy True Blood but this season didn’t seem up to the normal standards. I am not certain if they are out of original ideas or are just trying to unnecessarily expand the series out longer. The whole season seems like it could have been done in just a few episodes by cutting out some of the fluff. Hopefully next season (the final) will be much better so the show goes out with a bang rather than fizzling into nothingness.

I bought this for my girlfriend who is into the whole vampire genre thing. This seems to satisfy her needs. Decent acting, some good humor, lots of plot twists and surprises. This show has a lot of scantily clad actors and "love" scenes. The quality of the Blu-ray is definitely better than the DVD counterparts which I had ordered for two other seasons. Might be worth the price increase for some people with large TV's.

True Blood the complete sixth season on Blu-Ray. This season really keeps you entertained. Every episode is filed with exciting and clever material that never strays from the story. Answers to edge if your seat questions from the previous season mixed with the introduction of new characters is why True Blood is worth taking a"bite"out of your time to enjoy. Already looking forward for the next season release on Blu-Ray!

I've been watching True Blood since the beginning and have read all of the books the series is based on. There are differences between the books and television series, but I love them both! I enjoy the way the main characters are portrayed and the humor thrown in for good measure. Even though I occasionally 'roll my eyes' at some lines, I do watch this purely for the imaginative story line. I will be sad to see it go!

They seem to be stretching for plots into the sixth season. It starts out okay, and I am hoping it will get better as the season progresses. I haven't been disappointed yet with True Blood, so I'm holding out with high hopes. Eric is still a strong lead character. Sookie is still somewhat annoying. Tara and Pam should be interesting. Jason is losing it. Bill and Jessica.... well.... I'll just have to wait and see.

I'm too deep now to turn back. It's the same True Blood and it's as crazy as ever but I felt like season 6 actually had more of those truly meaningful/emotional moments that the series mostly avoids-- I'm talking character deaths, shocking character arcs, etc.-- I really enjoyed those and the impact will be felt heading into the final season. I'm ready to see how it all wraps up!

Season 5 got really weird and way off of the story with super outrageous plots. (not that vampires, werewolves, werepanthers, pixies, and shape shifters are not outrageous...) I think season 6 does a good job with bringing everything back and making better. No real comments for best buy. I checked the price on Amazon and best buy priced matched it for $10 cheaper at the store.

Love the series and hate to see it end. Season 6, in my opinion is the best of all. 7 Will have to top it in a major way. The best thing about a purchase at Best Buy is the instant gratification. The price at release was the same everywhere (including online). My package had both hard discs and ultraviolet... I'm set to watch and rewatch the series over and over.

Season 6 of any show is when you think it might be getting old, but True Blood does not disappoint in this season. It's the first season without Alan Ball running the show and the show still manages to entertain and contain a good season long plot. One of my complaints is that this release does not have DVD copies with the Blu-ray as previous releases have done.

Awesome. I look forward to seeing it as a binge-a-thon to catch up on the season past. It was interesting and not so much jumping the shark. I was entertained and wonder how is the season finale going to end. Been an ardent fan since season one. There is a death of a cast member which was unexpected. The ending leaves you beyond a cliffhanger. Check it out.

Allan Ball got out of the show at the right time, True Blood has definitely declined over the past four seasons. The whole Billith plot was ridiculous and boring. I didn't care about the Authority. Though I did become more of a fan of Russell. Hopefully this last season will give True Blood the conclusion it deserves and not more drivel like Season Six.

We love watching this series. It's sexy, funny, scaryish and just fun for couples to enjoy together. Not excited that they are ending it at season 7 but at least we will have all the seasons to enjoy for years to come. We love that it comes with the digital copies but found it odd that it no longer came with the DVD's too but blu-ray is great.

I purchased this series on sale... if you are as hooked as I am you need to review the chapters again so I just had to purchase this season. Wasn't crazy about last season, but of course had to insure I had every season for future viewing. Dreading that this is the last season but I have them all so far, so I can view them over & over & over.
