      Not the Best season

I was a big fan of the book and loved the first three seasons that HBO produced but they have gotten way off from the core of the story. Some of the chances they made I completely understood. First off they kept some of the characters that died in the book and added some. Laffite was a good character to keep and was good for a while, but then they started to add things to try force him more of him into story. They changed Jason's character and I'm not shore that it was an improvement. Jessica was a good add to the story and I can't find many faults with her. Second they jumped ahead in the story and then tried to good back some but it just jumbled the story. With the way the story was playing out on the show there was no need to introduce the fairy side of the books. They could have just left the hole Stackhouse heritage a mystery and it would have been fine. They didn't do it correctly anyways. Third the hole vampire religion and there god was just junk. not a thing good about that part of the plot. Mostly I enjoyed the series and hope I will come to forgive this season but id the last one doesn't pull it in before they finish I will be greatly disappointed.

If you watch the show regularly you know by now that the show is getting a little ridiculous... This has put some people off. Understand and take the show for what it is: a soap opera. If you accept that you should be able to have fun with the show. I have liked it from the beginning and have mixed feelings about the latest season but still like to see where they are taking the story and I still enjoyed the season overall. Definitely worth watching if you like or used to like the show and still have interest in the story or characters. If it already jumped the shark for you though this will just make it worse.

I was glad to say that this version is a different take on the original Robocop. Of course the special effects are much better considering when the original came out but what I prefer in this version is the absence of the campy, "I'd buy that for a dollar", humor. If you're a fan of robots, action, then there's not many reasons to not like this movie. If you like a complicated plot, there's not a lot of mystery here but I like watching it and I feel entertained; isn't that what movies are, at least in part, supposed to do? Movies are very subjective and your enjoyment may vary.

Vampires, Faries & Werewolfs - OH MY!

Tru-Blood takes a new spin on the ages old horror genre - where we bring Vampires, werewolves, faries and more into the modern world - and we try to live together in piece (or at least in pieces) . The character development has been superb as you really get to know these main characters including the good, the bad and the ugly and all the unimaginable transformatiions that take place for many of them. This is adult fare -so keep the kids away with all the graphic violence and nudity and it would likely give them nightmares for months.

The sixth season is very similar to the past few seasons, in the sense that there is a struggle to give adequate amount of screen time to the ever increasing number of principle characters. The story is fine, but when you have distanced yourself from watching the sixth season, you will be stretching your memory to recall more events that took place throughout the episodes. You will definitely like the season if you are already bleed True Blood, but there is a slight drop in quality with the departure of Alan Ball.

As excited as I was for this season's release, I must say that I am not at all surprised that you still have to pay practically full price for the Blu Ray set, and slightly less for the DVD, given how few episodes there were for the 6th season. At most, maybe this should've cost $20 in Blu Ray format, but even that's stretching it. If a show is so popular, why on earth do they even cut down on production? Costs? If so, then they could've easily done without the horrendous storyline & acting involving werewolves.

With all the seasons this one in particular was the shortest season along with Alan ball the show creator stepping down . With only 10 episodes I was a lil bumped out . I felt some stories felt really rushed like in particular SAM . I did however hate the storyline of terry . In a way the writers did do justice of who he actually was as character . I just didn't like how they came up with the villain for him . Overall I give it a B+ . All the actors are amazing on this show .

I used to thoroughly enjoy True Blood but this season didn’t seem up to the normal standards. I am not certain if they are out of original ideas or are just trying to unnecessarily expand the series out longer. The whole season seems like it could have been done in just a few episodes by cutting out some of the fluff. Hopefully next season (the final) will be much better so the show goes out with a bang rather than fizzling into nothingness.
