    Don't get me wrong, Best Buy is fine. It's Intuit's support that sucks. The IRS introduced a new form for tax year 2021. Although the electronic filing format wasn't finalized until March 20, 2022, the draft instructions were published early in 2021 and finalized by September. TurboTax didn't support entering the necessary data until the first week of April, nor did Intuit give any guidance that they might support that form before tax returns were due. Intuit should not have waited for the electronic format and instead included support for the form early so that folks could file their returns by mail as a workaround. Many people filed extensions. Otherwise, you have about a week to prepare your tax return. It's too bad that TurboTax and its ilk exist. They have allowed our tax code to become so complex that it is nigh impossible to prepare your tax return without software. (If taxpayers had to follow the instructions to manually prepare their tax return, such complex tax code would spur a revolt.)
