When I bought the PS4, the Turtle Beach headphone PX4 that I purchased didn't work due to a bluetooth system that PS4 has integrated, the headphone would play sound, but the mic is not working. After doing some research on various Youtube vid and online forum, it came to my knowledge that a PS4 chat cable is needed in order for PX4 headphone to work on PS4. All it is is a 2.5mm end and 3.5mm jack that connects your headphone to your controller, and the mic would work again. If you don't chat, the PX4 would work just by playing sound. It is needed if you want to use to mic option. I was told that the regular 2.5-3.5 cable from radio shack wouldn't work. But for 13 dollars, it is not bad of an investment to have the PX4 to be fully functional again.

I have the astro a50 2nd gen and i replace this to chat of the cahle that cames with it works 100% no statics

This cord completely removes the need for the horrible little MS adapter cable. This is built well and works great between my Xbox One and my Astro A40 mixamp. I highly recommend this cord. I've tried many adapters and none have worked except this one.

Ps4 chat cable. This is a great product that help me use my older Turtle beach PX5 headset to use with my xbox one console.

This is a great adapter. I didnt want to buy a new headset when I switched from 360 to ps4 and this adapter lets me use my turtle beach x32 on my PS4 no problem.

Used this on my PX5. I thought they would go to waste after upgrading to a PS4, but thanks to this cable, I can continue using my headset. Con: no longer a true wireless headset.

Bought for my son's Astro 40 Ps4 headset and works flawlessly.

This wire was suggested to me to fix the audio issues associated with the astro A50 , make a world of difference with voice chat quality. This wire and the Microsoft headset adapter equals greatness.

Like lots of people who upgraded to the next gen ps4 I quickly found out that my $250 turtle beach px5 gaming headset wasn't fully comparable with the new system. I could get audio from the ps4 but I couldn't use the microphone to chat! I was extremely upset with Sony that they didn't just make the new system work with all of the previous gens head sets. Anyway it took me about a year before I picked up this cable because it was never in stock and I was just too lazy to order it, that was all until I happens to walk through the game section at my local best buy and lo and behold $10 later I finally was able to use my Mic. The cable itself is thick and feels vary robust, I can tell its well made. It has one end that plugs into your ps4 controller and the other end plugs into my Px5 headset. It's also plenty long enough for me to stand up and good the controller about waste level and not feel like its tugging on the headset, I am 5'11". So if you are like me and just can't stomach tossing out perfectly good technology, look no further then this little cable. It's a lot easier for me to spend money on this then replacing my already great gaming head set.

It's an adapter cable for some of Turtle Beach's wireless headphones. I'm sure it would work for other devices that use the same size audio jacks. Quality of the cable seems decent enough. Not terribly flimsy or anything. Length is adequate for its intended use. Does what it's supposed to. Price is a bit higher than I'd like, but not unbearably so. <shrug> What else is there to know?

Needed a new one because my dog chewed through the old one and worked perfectly. It's says it's for PS4 only but it ALSO works for the XBOXONE.

This is a decent product that does the job well. I would recommend this item, as it is inexpensive but works well.

I thought I would have to sell my Turtle Beach Wireless Headphones because they don't have and adapter for the XBOX one but the chat cable allows me to use them, not quite wireless anymore but the cable is long enough that it doesn't interfer with game play and it's a few dollars vs a couple hundred or more.

This is a good product for using on the xbox one chat adapter.

Very good quality. I have a 200$ pair of turtle beach black ops 2 x - ray headset. And it would not let me chat with people online on my ps4. This adapter allowed to do this and not lose voice quality or sound!

Saved me from buying a new set. Best Buy employee didn't even know they had these.

This is what you need if you have a PS4 and you want to chat online. This works out great and you don't have to purchase another headset for the PS4.
