hooks up easy very light stays in place.i think it will last a long time it hooks up very well with each other.the color matches.it works great with my xbox.it is very compatibilty with our system.it never gets in the way.hardly know its even there.

Great connector which does exactly what it's advertised to do. Allows a Xbox headset user to plug their headsets into the open HDMI connection on the back of your Xbox vs. routing it through audio-out on your TV.

I haven't used this yet. I still need a couple of more accessories to set up my gaming chair.

Its very annoying that I had to purchase it, but it does the job it was intended. I've had zero issues with the adapter.

The device did its intended job and that was to split the sound of from my xbox 360 so it could be hooked up to either my headphones or my speakers

Overall the sound quality was acceptable for the price of the headset. I really was put off by the need to buy that adapter. In our modern times of using at least 720p tv's you would think they would require an adapter if you "didn't" use an HDMI cable. But really you shouldn't need to buy an adapter if you are hooking this up to an Xbox at all because it is being sold as an Xbox accessory. I just found it aggravating and it added to the expense of the headset. I would recommend this to a friend, but I would make sure they knew to shop around.

Needed adapter that easy to connect and cost effective. Found this turtle beach adapter at Bestbuy for reasonable cost. Instructions simple for hook up. Sounds from headset are exellent!!
