I had the special edition DVD and decided to get the blu ray. This is a HUGE upgrade over the DVD version in terms of clarity and sound. Definitely worth it.

Really good transfer to blu-ray. Sounds great and looks great and a fun movie to put on for a rainy Saturday afternoon.

I always watch it when it comes on TV. Wanted to own it. Some of it is far fetched but I liked the actors. One of those movies you will end up knowing each line to.

Being a Texan, this movie pretty close to reality. Our weather forecasters put themselves in jeopardy to get a better understanding of dangerous weather conditions.

Awesome 90's movie remastered for Blu-Ray, it is loaded with extra features and it still stands the test of time. Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt are awesome in this movie, one of the big summer movies of 1996, great disaster movie that leaves you on the edge of your seat.

This is just a good sounding surround movie and in a better quality dvd in Blu-ray

Classic movie! Lots of action that could be real life - nothing too out there. Lots of anticipation and adrenaline.

A very decent disaster movie. The special effects at the time was unmatched. I can see how this movie was nominated for two Academy awards (best visual effects and best sound).
