Very durable and convent a great way to protect my investment in such a premium Laptop

Nice case to protect your surface. It’s a little hard to put on but if you read the instructions and watch a YouTube video it fits extremely well. It even has a storage place for the pen. The only thing I’m not thrilled with is the hinge. There is a small rubber cord that is supposed to keep the hinge close to the laptop however my cord broke right away. In looking at the design is not repairable. For the price this seemed a little cheap.

I love it! It fits perfectly and provides optimum protection without losing any functionality. It's lightweight yet strong. It doesn't take away from the look or design of the Surface Book 2. It holds the Surface Pen, and works however you configure the product. This is the second one I've purchased for the second Surface Book 2 that I've purchased.

Fits snug, and provides confidence that your investment will be protected in the event of a fall. It does add a noticeable amount of weight. For those who use 3.5mm ports, adequate clearance may be a challenge, but nothing that a good file can't fix.

Great protection. Love the built-in pen holder! It also adds a little more weight to the overall package, but that's OK for me. I like knowing that it's covered on all outside surfaces and it's clear which allows me to see this beautiful machine and protect it at the same time. The cutouts are perfect and I'm able to access all ports without any issues.

I thought I was buying this great cover for my new Surface Book 3 15" model...but, D'OH!! It's the 13.5" size. So I didn't get to use it and also forgot to RMA the thing. So I found a buddy who had the SB3 13.5" version. He LOVES it and it looks really sharp and techy. He loves the pen holder the most but also it gives a better grip when you separate the display from the keyboard base. Oh, yeah, it does not interfere with opening and closing in normal fashion and also allows folding the display back if you detach it and turn it around laying it down over the keyboard. All of the ports are easily accessed as well. Doesn't interfere with the camera or speakers. I'm so jealous as we SB3 15" owners don't really have any decent cases yet, and might never. But from my handing of the thing on the SB3 13.5" I love it. No complaints at all.

This case is a little too heavy, although it allows you to remove the screen from the surface book in order to use it in tablet mode. The design is simple and very sleek looking. It does as some definition to the laptop but it has kept my laptop very clean with no scratches! I definitely recommend.

This case is well designed to protect this device. A bit tough to put on and take off but for the protection reason. Has a spot for the Surface Pen well designed, above all the style of the case almost looks like a military laptop. Two thumbs up!!

This case is absolutely gorgeous! Fits like a glove, really like the feel. Didn't even notice the pen holder on top at first but it's perfect. Started looking at other UAG products to fit my other devices after I got this one in place!

Getting case is like getting insurance, you don't know how good your coverage is until after you need it. So far, haven't dropped computer so I can not offer an opinion of how well case protects laptop (and hopefully don't get chance in short-term). Can offer opinion that case fits Book 2 well and is rather stylish. One thought, need to follow instructions when installing. If you don't remove rubber pieces in keyboard section you will have difficulty inserting keyboard section properly. In addition, you need to make sure tablet section is completely pushed into case to ensure that power and volume switches function. It is a tight fit, but you just need to push in all the way. You don't want to push too hard and break something but if you don't push hard enough it doesn't slip in all the way.

I plan on using my Surface Book 2 in some situations where it might get knocked over or dropped. This case gives about the right amount of protection without adding too much weight or thickness. Need to be patient when putting it on the "tablet" half of the Surface Book. Had to use a little force to get the top down low enough so that the head phone jack would insert all of the way in. Although you can take the keyboard portion of the case off pretty easily, you would not want to take the display half of the case off if you can help it. I was glad to find that the TSA had no problems with this case being left on when going through the security check points on a couple of recent flights.

This cover is easy to install and gives you protection from breaks and scrapes if the laptop is dropped. It also has a pen holder for the stylus so you don't lose it.

Really didn't think much of this item until after installing it on my Microsoft Surface Book 3. It fit like a glove, offering protection to the corners and flats that I didn't expect. It was much more substantial than I thought it would be, providing a new level of protection I really thought was non-existent for any laptop. I was most imprewssed with the quality of the design and the overall durability of the unit. 10 thumbs up!!

This is one of the few protective covers available for Surface Book 2, which might be why it’s so pricey (my only real complaint). Asked Geek Squad to help me put the top portion on, because it’s so snug I was afraid of scratching the machine. Doesn’t cover the screen or keyboard, so I may get additional protection for those.

This was the only cover available to fit my new Surface. It seems fine, but it does add a surprising amount of weight. Hard plastic, two covers seperate to allow the detachable lid (computer) to come apart from the base (keyboard). A good design, I like that it is clear, but it adds weight.

So this shield of armor may not be printed with a cool or cute pattern and at first I thought it was ugly to be honest but then again it was for my kiddo not me and well it just had better reviews on the protection I was looking for! So have you ever watched your kid flawlessly wander thru his privileges carefree and throw his electronics around like they’re disposable and cheap? While his tosses are onto beds and couches it’s still a nerve wrecking annoyance, but because of this brand of protective cases even the clumsiest kid has a fighting chance to lose privileges of his electronics for a week at a time, and they’ll still be in working order when he can be more thoughtful in how he handles the expensive things he has! Ok so this review is a little Ranty and I digress....but this case! It has saved many laptop drops!

It's designed to protect, which it does very well but my Surface has a detachable screen. The hinge makes it difficult to reattach the screen to key board. I recommend this for people who leave them attached 90% of the time.

It is an alright case, fits well but not sure how much protection it will provide. I feel it is overpriced for what it is, No screen protection included and that is the biggest fear for me. I sometimes take mine into industrial locations so will have to be extra vigilant.

Works and fits really well to protect our investment. Like that it's clear.

Used on a Surface Book 2 and yes, it does increase the weight. But then again the case is as light as it can really get for the money AND provides the best protection given the nature of the SB-2's construction. NO problems fitting it and NO problems in use. I added a screen protector and recommend you do too
