Sturdy but heavy

Not so good sadly

UAG makes great stuff but this is one that totally missed the mark. The rubber(?) is very flimsly and doesnt feel very secured on the iPad. The bottom part detaches for the iPad smart keyboard which works in theory but feels poor when executed. I would not trust this in any reasonable drop situation.

Good protection with one major flaw

However, the major flaw is that the portion that folds outward gets loose and does now close completely, which compromises the protection a bit and does not allow for the case to close flush. Thus, it leaves a gap. I ultimately returned the case.

Seems you still can’t do this directly without using iTunes which is a colossal pain 8(

It won’t even hold the iPad in without the other section. No keyboard comes with it either. Found another one on Amazon for half the price and it came with a keyboard. I can’t even take it back yet because of the pandemic. I can’t get anyone to answer the phone when I try to ask about a return.

Need keyboard
