If you're looking for a speaker that is virtually indestructable, water and resistant, and if you or a friend dances a little crazy a little too close to your speaker at your poolside party and accidentally kicks the MEGABOOM 4 in that pool, no worries, it Floats! Speaking of party, this is the ultimate bluetooth Party Speaker with 20 hours of play time on one charge. If you want to set up a concert style sound system, this speaker does that too. With the ap app, you can pair several BOOM model speakers and experience a true surround sound experience. I have to say, my favorite feature out this. little powerhouse is the MAGIC BUTTON. This thing gets pretty loud without distortion, and the battery lasts longer than I expected. Definitely a buy for padio or any room.

Unfortunately, I left them in the rain with the charge cord. Would have survived the rain if the port cap was closed. I purchased 2 new Megaboom 4 speakers even better than the original. I recently used them at an outdoor wedding in stereo party mode and had a lot of positive comments. We loved them around the pool most of the time. I'm always asked to bring my Megaboom's.

I’ve found that UE speakers produces the sound I like. As for battery life, as long as I don’t lose the charging cord I am fine.

There is no need to any handle as it fits perfectly in your grip. Sized to fit the shower or the bench towel bag. Most importantly the sound is very good. Music is enjoyable and podcasts are easily understood. You might say it was a much better value than I originally expected.
