Let me start out by saying this was a gift for my wife. That said, I do like tech stuff so I had to check it out. Personally, I have not wore a watch since cell phones started displaying the time, so my review will be purely objective. The watch itself is high quality but like so many Apple products, I feel it is a bit overpriced. It has many of the same functions as your iPhone with a few extras, mainly the heart monitor and fitness apps. Some of the apps, especially Facebook Messenger act a little quirky but we are working through those now. I think a lot of it has to do with the settings on her phone and the fact she won’t give up her watch for a few minutes so I can troubleshoot it—yes, she loves it that much. If for some reason, you cannot access your phone easily, perhaps due to your job, I think the Apple Watch is a perfect addition. Otherwise, I feel it is a bit redundant. Bottom line, if you have to have the latest tech, this is for you.

What do you expect from Apple? World-class products. This is one of them. I recommend spending the extra few $H to get the sapphire crystal display so it won't get scratched (and then you won't have to invest in screen protectors). The screen is small (it's a watch...duh) so when navigating an app, if you have big hands/fingers, prepare for a learning curve. Battery life is still the challenge; overall, it's a neat gadget. This one happened to be an open-box item so if you don't mind that, save yourself a few bucks.

I tried a few different types of exercise tracking devices. All of them seemed to exaggerate my actual amount of exercise. I figured I'd give this a try and wow, much better right off the bat! I'm a contractor so depending on what I'm doing, it's hard to hear my phone. The watch gives me a gentle pulse to let me know somebody is calling or texting or when it gives me progress reports on my daily exercise goals. One of the most amazing things to me is the talk to text feature. I know, my phone has that too but it rarely converts what I say perfectly. The watch has done it perfectly every time. Pretty cool. No regrets!!

This watch I thought would be ok. Lots of skepticism that came with this, but this watch has exceeded expectations. The watch last well over the amount of time that Apple posted, even after heavy usage. I know it is just a hobby right now for Apple but they're off to a good start. My friend had the sport model, and when I saw the stainless steel, I was blown away. Yes I know its pretty much the same watch, but it feels so much heavier and it looks like its a higher quality. Love everything it can do now, heart sensor, health apps, messages, SIRI, maps, phone calls, etc. The watch faces are cool and the options make it a different watch almost everyday. Cant wait for the next OS update.

Great for not having to look at phone all the time when receiving emails, texts or notifications. Handy at work, can customize face to what you want to show and quick access too like next meeting in calendar, outside temp, time of different time zone, fitness tracker, etc. Several different faces, can customize colors and what you want to show. Would like apple to create a watch face to show only the clock that was square and covered the watch face instead of just round. Scroll wheel easy to use, can hold to access Siri or can say "Hey Siri" if you have set in phone. Watch speaker phone seems to work fine. The Milanese band holds tight and doesn't pull hair on arm, like the magnetic feature. Easy to change bands with button on bottom. Just have to justify the cost for the added convenience. Can buy several different aftermarket bands for cheaper than the apple bands.

I wasn't sure if I would use this often. But I needed a watch and well, why not get an Apple Watch, it turns out it's pretty Convenient. I use it everyday, it makes it easy and quick to skip music tracks, read messages,read reminders & make quick calls. I'm still learning and starting to use the other features. It's pretty cool if you ask me.

Love the Apple watch with Milanese Loop. I wanted something semi-dressy and this fits the bill perfectly. I can wear it to any occasion and not feel under or over-accessorized. Also looks good with jeans and t-shirt. And the watch features themselves are fantastic. Notifications are awesome. Only pull your phone out of your pocket when an immediate response is required! I was on the fence at first and then Best Buy ran the $100 off deal and I snapped one up. Love it!

It gets better the longer you have it. Lots of features show up as you have the need for different apps. The driving directions also showing up on your watch helps keep your hands on the wheel. The ability to answer and talk through the watch in a pinch is awesome. Like when you can't get you phone out of your pocket in time or if you head to the bathroom leaving your phone in another room. FYI: Get the additional warranty. I didn't on my first one and the first time I ever dropped it shattered the screen. $329+ to repair. Obviously I like the watch to buy another.

I upgraded from the Basis Peak (which is currently not being sold by retailers due to battery overheating issues) which had a 5 day battery life and would take my heart rate 24/7. It was a great watch, but not worth the safety risk. Enter the Apple Watch. I bought mine as an Open Box deal and this thing is flawless, props to Best Buy for that. The first day i charged it and wore it, it barely lasted all day, i got about 6 hours of usage out of it, primarily due to the novelty and having the urge to play with my new toy. Once i read more about it, i found out that "Hey Siri" eats up much of the battery. After disabling that and reducing motion, im getting at least 18 hours like they claim. I could probably push it to around 20-24 hours with practical settings and usage if i wanted to. The case is absolutely beautiful, You dont know how good the black stainless looks until you see it in person. Also the Sapphire glass wont scratch, so if you find yourself bumping your watches against stuff, youre going to want that piece of mind. Since i mentioned the basis peak, i use my smartwatches for fitness as well as other functions. The Apple Watch interface in my opinion does a better job of motivating me than Basis ever could. It wont automatically sense when im working out, but its easy enough to get started and the activity rings on the face help me remember to get one started whenever i go out for a bike ride or a walk. The Apple Watch is a work in progress, but it is a very solid device so far. Im definitely enjoying my time with it (no pun intended).

This watch has become part of my daily routine. Fitness health tracking, simpler notifications, and easier communication make my days better-managed!

My Apple Watch is incredible. It looks great. It's accurate. It is now an important part of my daily workouts. It only comes off my wrist to charge.

Just a note about me. I'm an accountant that goes to the gym 5-6 times a week. I've been considering the Apple Watch for a while. I had a Microsoft band and it was fine. A little clunky but served its purpose. It worked great for my workout and when I am doing work around the house. However it did not look very good when I wore it to work, especially when I had to wear a suit. So I quit wearing it. I had looked at the sport version of the Apple watch and it just looked kind of cheap to me. When the watch went on sale this past December I looked again. With $100 off it was a little easier to swallow. Nice present for myself. At first I thought I would not like the milanese strap for a guy. It's actually really nice. Looks sharp for work and when I go out. I like the notifications and that I don't have to get my phone out of my pocket. Comes in very handy in meetings. I don't wear it to work out. I was always knocking my band on a wall or equipment so I don't want to scratch this up. I use it as I would any other dress watch. It just has a lot of additional features. The display is great very crisp. No problem reading texts and short emails. No problem syncing with my phone. I always have to reset my Microsoft band to connect. I would recommend this as a watch, maybe look at the sport if you want to exercise with it. As far as the Milanese band goes, it is very stylish. I have large wrists and it fits perfectly. It is also nice that you can tighten or loosen it as needed. I also have fairly hairy arms and it has only grabbed a hair once or twice. The magnet does slip occasionally but nothing that would make me feel like it would fall off. Overall very happy.

I really enjoy the uniqueness of having this watch. The price jump on the stainless compared to the sport is worth it. Stainless makes the watch look more substantial, and gives it that extra standout factor. In terms of usefulness, I have almost everything turned off except text messages, and my calendar. Having your wrist tap you when you have a meeting in 15 minutes is great. The same with messages. As neat as this is, it is completely not necessary. Having the watch for almost a month now I can say I love having it, but could survive without it.

The Apple Watch was easy to set up and get started. I am still discovering new cool things I can do with it. It is especially great if you have friends with watches so the watch to watch features can be used. From a working standpoint I appreciate the easy review of texts and notifications without having to pull out my phone. I do wish it had a bit further range of working away from the mothership. That being said, as a techie I am loving it!

I wear this watch everyday and I love all the features of this watch. The battery lasts all day long and it doesn't take a long time to recharge it, a little less than an hour to get to 100% charge. I made the right decision of getting the stainless steel with Milanese loop. I don't suggest placing a case or guard on the stainless steel watch because dust and dirt will get under the case and will actually scratch it. I used a clear case and when I checked after 2 days of using it, there are lots of micro scratches on the sides of my watch now.

If you are debating between the Sport and Watch, spend the extra money on this version. The band doesn't show scratches and can be used in sports. The screen is made of sapphire which is extremely scratch resistant. The only issue is stainless steel will show scuffs and scratches unlike the 7000 series aluminum so you give up that protection for appearance.

Haven't worn a watch in years but leave it to Apple to design a watch I am willing to wear every day. No regrets here, even my wife wishes she had gone with the Apple watch instead of the designer one we purchased for her a few months ago.

It's nice that you don't have to look at your phone when a notice goes off. Just glance at the watch. It has helped me keep more active.

The Apple Watch is made of quality materials and performs as described. The link between the watch and my iPhone works great, no syncing problems or response delays. The fitness tracking aspects of the watch work better than any other wearable I have tried and the watch and bands hold up great to rigorous workout routines. In meetings the watches haptic response notifications are sufficient to get my attention for incoming calls, messages, etc however not so strong that they surprise you. It provides a great subtle way to monitor your calls and messages without staring at your phone every 10 minutes. I highly recommend the Apple Watch, I would have rated it 5 stars but the apps available at this time remain limited in their functionality.
