    aesthetically Under Night is very similar to most of their 2D games, there's just enough difference in tone and mechanics to make it worth checking out if you're a fan of the older guilty gear games in particular. I have yet to play in portable mode as I usually play with my system docked, but I haven't noticed any issues there such as lag and graphically the visuals are sharp and animations are smooth. Control is a high point as well, though I expected nothing less. They are responsive and pulling off moves and combos is simple. Overall I recommend this game to any 2D fighter enthusiasts who have played the hell out of BlazBlue cross tag battle already

    Great fighting game. 2D fighting with 3D rendered backgrounds, easy to learn controls hard to master all moves, looks great and no slowdowns when the action gets going. I watched a review online and loved it immediately. Now I want to watch the Anime.

    Absurdly crazy long name, but a whole lot of fun. As a fighting game, it is super deep. In fact, it's so deep that it'll send your head into a vorpal tailspin trying to comprehend and apply it all. But as deep as it is, you can still have fun playing this as a casual fighter. That's the hallmark of a great fighting game. Under Night has cool characters and approaches everything with a unique style. Don't sleep on this one!
