Prince is great in this Movie. The movie is black and white which I think is pretty cool. If you like Prince or even if you don't you may just like this movie. Its as far from Purple Rain as you can get. Give it a try. You may just like it.

A fictitious story line about a posh, narcissistic musician and effeminate pianist who cons rich women for love and money. If you don't mind the black and white, then you will find much colorful intrigue in this humorously funny film.

It's nowhere near as good as Purple Rain, but it's Prince, and the price is nice. It's a dates DVD, so the music videos are not high end, but it's good cheap fun.

A great movie back in the 80's and still a great movie now on Blu-Ray. I did not notice that the picture was improved but now I have it on Blu-Ray instead of VHS. I wish it had come with a digital copy as most movies now do,

While I haven't had time to watch this one as yet, if the same punch that is with Purple Rain and Graffiti Bridge is present it is going to a great movie. Regardless, it still merits 5 stars because it is Prince after all.

Not the best performance by Prince, he was great as a music performer but not as an actor. Got it primarily to have a complete collection of his movies.

Not sure how I never watched this growing up, I guess the black and white threw me off, but now I am so glad I gave it a chance.. Prince was definitely a star. It was a must watch comedy with Christopher and Tricky..

This is the 2nd Prince film I seen and it's excellent. This is a good DVD with pretty nice transfer though a bluray would be better but unfortunately this is only available currently on DVD. Highly recommended

This movie catches Prince in the most sexy, sensual and comedic roles he's ever played! He is so poetic and so romantic but why wouldn't he be? He's Prince and I am a Prince-lover 4ever! Love me some him!!

I love all things PRINCE, so for this movie is the ultimate. I also enjoy the songs being sung i.e. Mountains, Girls and Boys. AWESOME!!!

If you loved Purple Rain then you must get this one too. Yes, it's in black & white but it's great. Tricky is a riot!!! Lots of laughs & a little bit of drama too. The music is not too bad either.

The movie itself is not that great, the music is the best part. It's simply one of those purchases made due to being a fan of Prince's.

I love the way this movie looks in blu ray..it has a antique feel to it..the movie was very well done..Prince did a amazing story. I love watching this movie , get it you won't be disappointed!

Loved this movie. It reminds me of movies being made in black and white long ago. Was glad that I was able to purchase this movie since Prince's death. I decided to purchase this DVD as a gift.

Reviewed as one of the worst film's in its generation, Under the Cherry Moon is one of Prince's most underrated projects of his lifetime. Adored by fans and appreciated as time went on.

I bought this knowing his personality wanting to see more! He makes a lot of jokes in this movie! If your a Prince fan you would want to see this movie to enjoy what he created for his fans.

Great deal on a movie that isn't great but it is Prince. The music alone makes it enjoyable for a movie that lacks in plot.

This follow-up to Prince's 'Purple Rain' didn't quite deliver on the acting but the musical performance and dancing are good.
