I needed this to use my 2nd gen Apple Pencil with my usb-c iPad. It’s pretty simply designed, just like the lightning port one that came with the pencil originally. The price was low. It does what it’s supposed to do. I wish Apple had thought of a way to store this stuff when not in use, because it is small and easy to misplace. Otherwise, solid product.

Lost the adapter charger piece for my original Apple Pencil (1st generation) and have been going without it for years. I wish i would have picked this up so much sooner! So much easier and more practical than charging by plugging it into the lightning port on my 12.9” iPad— adding a pencil length to that made it really awkward to place. Not to mention the stress and anxiety from all the close call, borderline mini heart attacks all those times when accidentally hitting the pencil while it’s charging in a longer iPad and causing it to suddenly spin around or fly off onto the floor no longer being an issue is money well spent. Plus its small, quality material, and sleek design that makes up for all the design flaws of the first Apple Pencil.

Probably the best thing for the apple pencil. I used a bunch of knock off brands and nothing worked. This is what you need and best buy is always top tier when buying electronics.

This USB-C to Apple Pencil adapter is super handy—just plug it in, and you’re good to go. It’s small and easy to carry around, and it works perfectly for charging and pairing. If you’ve got a Gen 1 Pencil and a newer iPad, this little thing is a lifesaver!

I mean there isn't much to say. It lets you charge old apple pencils if you have a new iPad, so kinda required if you have an old pencil and a new (usb-c) iPad. You can't plug straight into the iPad with this so you need another cable (usb-c to usb-c) to connect the pencil but other than that it is fine.

It does exactly what it’s supposed to! I bought it for my first generation Apple Pencil to use with a newer IPad. It allowed me to connect and pair the two devices with ease. If you don’t want to buy a new ipencil, this is the way to go. Apart from it meeting my functional needs, the one complaint I’d make is that it’s so small and is easy to loose.

This was a replacement works so well Best Buy had same price as Apple easy to pick up and use
