They`re good quality headphones, they really enhance the sound quite much. They are a little pricey, but then again you get what you pay for. When the cord is bent or rubs up against something it causes one ear to short but its liveable. It came with a carrying case that has the headphone silcone fittings in three sizes in 2 colors, clear and black. It comes with an 2.5 mm adapter so that the headphones can be used in phones with smaller jacks.

Be sure you select the right size earpiece fitting

I've been struggling with the Faze headset on my Droid X for a couple of weeks, and was ready to give up on it and return it to BB, due to terrible sound. The sound was clean, without distortion, but there was no bass, no highs - just a metallic-sounding mid-range. OK for voice, but awful for music.
I finally decided to just try out a different size earpiece fitting prior to returning them, just to see if it would help, but not expecting much improvement . They come with three fitting sizes, with the smallest fitting installed. I switched to the middle size, and was surprised and amazed that the sound totally met my expectations.
I guess it's really important with this unit that the ear canals are completely filled to work properly. I'm not nuts about the feeling of fullness in my ears, but it's just something I will adjust to.
Functionally, the headset works fine with the DX, and I like the clip they provided to prevent pulling on the cords while moving around, and the unit seems reasonably well constructed.

Good noise reducing headphones

Disregard what it says about these headphones being for the iPod/iPhone and BlackBerrys. These earphones work with any mobile phone or device with a 2.5 or 3.5mm plug.
I got these for my now gone Virgin Mobile Shuttle, and now I use them for my VM LG Rumor2, and they work good. Not great, but they're definitely good.
They come with a handy pouch.
I especially like the noise reducing feature of them, which is the main reason I got them, due to the silicone adapters that (should) fit nice and snug your ear.
I've worn these when operating a 2 stroke gas engine string trimmer at full throttle, which require a person to wear noise reducing earmuffs in order to prevent some serious ear damage, but these earphones reduces the engine noise so well that I can listen to music at only 1 level higher than I'd listen to it in a quiet room (4/8 volume setting on my phone).
That's most likely because the small-size adapters that come pre-installed fit my ears perfectly and comfortably, your results may differ. The silicone adapters come in 3 sizes, so if they don't fit well you probably will have problems with them either falling out or being too tight and uncomfortable.
I'm not expecting THX quality sound of out $50 earphones, and neither should you, but the music I listen to sounds pretty similar on these as it does on my desktop with a Creative X-Fi sound card with fine tuned equalizer settings and good speakers, these earphones are obviously going to have a lesser sound reproduction ability, but nothing to go crazy about, I find that they perform exactly like a $50 set of noise reducing earphones should. Sound quality also depends on the device they're connected to.
I haven't had any problems with these in terms of mechanical reliability, and I've used these under harsher circumstances than most people would.
You should get these, they're pretty much the best for the price, assuming the silicone adapters fit your ears.

I purchased a pair of these headphones to conduct online meetings in April. They were great. Great sound. Great noise cancelling. Great mic. Great price. After about 3 months, I began losing sound in the mic side ear bud...eventually lost the mic too. It never came back.
Since I needed this for business, instead of sending it back for warrenty issues, I decided to buy another pair. Again, they worked great. After about 3 months, they again began losing sound on the mic side.
I don't understand why this happened. I use these very little. When they are not in use, they wrap around my phone or lay on my work desk. These were great headphones....too bad the workmanship is so shotty.

I received these as a gift. When I first open the package I was excited because I've heard good things about this brand. Within the first 3 seconds after plugging them into my iPhone I was truly disappointed. The sound was not what I was expecting. The bass is there, and it's tight, but mid range and treble are lacking. I've tried all the EQ settings on the iPhone, but was unhappy with all the results. I was using a cheap set of Skullcandy Inked earbuds (without any EQ) and those sound way better to me IMO. Do yourself a favor and avoid these and try another brand. Maybe the more expensive V-Moda's sound better.

This is my first set of noise reducing ear plugs and now that I've tried them, I will never go back to the ole iPhone ear buds! The sound quality is amazing, bass is just enough and even when riding BART, i can still hear my music.
Only problem i have had is the microphone/answering system. When on a call with the plugs it sometimes can be difficult as you can hardly hear yourself talk so you dont know if you are too quiet or too loud. I have had complaints with the microphone level from the other end of the call too. Dont wear both plugs while driving! NOT SAFE.

This product is cool for what it is used for. They fit in my little ears and stay, they have a nice sound and they were on sale. I would not have paid $50 for them but at the sale price of $30 that was a great steal. I wish the cord was a little longer cause I am taller than 5'4 and when I put iphone in my pocket headset not as secure cause cord is a little short. If you catch them on sale I would buy but to spend regular price I wouldn't do it.

The over all sound is clean and it's a bonus that it comes with an inline mic that works with the music functions of the iphone. I expected them to be a bit more bass heavy from my experience with other v-moda headphones but for the price they perform well and seem well constructed. They were comfortable for the duration of a 5 hour plane ride.

If the mic and one-button AND in-line remote is important to you, there are only a dozen or so in-ears I know of on the market right now that will accommodate you without using an adapter.
These are certainly not the cheapest, but not even close to the most expensive buds you can buy. That being said, they sound pretty good for their cost, and much better than some cheaper and better than a few (much) more expensive buds I've tried.
The bass is full, but not booming. The lower midrange is very prominent, but again, seems to be right on with the volume level. Midrange is weaker but not to where vocals get lost. Upper midrange seems to drop off significantly. The treble is weak, but better than upper midrange. It gets harsh though at times, loosing definition when there's also a lot of bass in the music.
I listen to Rock at moderate (midway on an iPhone/iPod) volumes. Your experience and preference will be a lot different at different volumes and with different music.
After two hours of wear with the medium size earpieces (small ones are installed originally and too small to seal well for me,) I did start to notice a small bit of discomfort. More than enough to notice, but not enough to cause pain. I've had a lot better experiences with comfort out of other buds.
Given the price and the price of alternatives, if you are considering these, give them a listen, they might be perfect for you.
I'm going to keep them, but they probably wont be my primary headphones.

Yes it has a microphone/control for music on iPhone, but the quality really is not up to the price. It's my opinion that this model is on the LOW end of VMODA earbuds. The sound quality on the VMODA is average (no deep bass, no clear treble). Package says the cables are kevlar enforced...I see and feel no difference. The control is a bit hard to press and is also covered in the rubbery surface of the cables. People I've called said I sounded 'far away' and 'low' through the microphone. In direct comparison to a similarly priced pair of SONY (microphone+control also) the SONY wins. Bigger/tighter bass, and some high/clear treble. I am returning these and getting another pair of SONY earbuds. These faze VMODA earbuds are better priced at $30.

Overall, good headphones

I think these are pretty good headphones, they fit in my ear nicely, and I have small ears. The music sounds really good and the bass is pretty cool. The mic is ok, I tested it out a few times and i've been told I sound fine. I think for the price these are a pretty good choice if you aren't wanting to spend $$$. My favorite thing about these headphones is they are pretty much like earplugs, they block the sounds nicely. I'm very happy so far w/ my purchase.

Absolute worst headset I've ever owned

A friend has the Vibe 2 and loves them. I bought these instead because they were in stock and also had a built in microphone. Maybe because I have a small ear but I couldn't get them to stay in. I tried all the sizes and sitting on an airplane they just fell out. If I jammed them in so they'd stay, they hurt after 15 minutes. Also the right side (the side with the microphone) shorted out after a day. I had to move the wire around to get sound.
The sound was awesome, but the construction and quality was lousy. Thankfully Best Buy took them back without a problem. I'm loving my new Sony ear buds that cost a lot less.

Bought these because they were on sale and I had lost the set that had come with my Blackberry, maybe that was lucky because I like the sound quality of this headset a lot better. I use them on planes, they have good isolation from external noise so you wouldn't want to use both earbuds when driving. Mic seems to work well, everyone on phone calls seems to have been able to hear me fine. Overall I think these are a good value.

Work great for 7 days, fit per fact in ear, not fell out while heavy exercise. Pulled out from my ear one day after exercise and left ear loose the voice. I do not know what to do. I through away the box. Very poor product build. Though the music was great for 7days (cost me $4.50/day). My made in China online headphone that cost me $3 is better than this product.

THE MIC WILL MAKE EVERYBODY HATE TALKING TO YOU!!!

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
ANY movement or even just touching the wires sends "loud scratchy" noises to the other person. EVERYONE COMPLAINS!!!! The whole point of these is to wear them and talk on the phone so I can move around and not have my phone held to my head. Even the slightest movement is picked up and amplified to the other person. I dont even need to touch the mic, at any spot on the wires or the slightest movement is sent as very loud scratchy noises that is far louder than my voice to the other person, Also lots of back round noises are sent just as loud as my voice. These make conversations VERY frustrating for me and the other person. I've tried to clip them in so many different ways to minimize the noise and NOTHING WORKS. The Mic totally makes these horrible. DO NOT BUY.

Tinny sound, inferior mic

Just bought it and I'm going to return tomorrow. On way home I tested it out by calling a friend and had him listen to me with and without the headset plugged in. He said there was no comparing. Without was much, much better. With the headset plugged in in sound quality as "okay".
Earbuds are tinny and lacking midrange. That is something I could have lived with if the mic was good. Being a consultant, though, who spends a lot of time on the phone, I can't have my paying clients struggling to hear what I'm saying so I'm probably going to pony up for the $130 to get the Bose which I hear are amazing.

The headphones do not sound near what I thought they would for the cost. I have had cheaper headphones that sound better. 2 stars is all I give them.
