If you loved the first Valkyria Chronicles, you will love this one. Even if you're new to the series, the charm of this strategy RPG can get anyone addicted. View your units from above, then take control of them down below and strategize your way to victory.

I originally played Valkyria Chronicles 1 years ago, and loved it, but this game takes everything that was rough about earlier games, hammers them out and delivers a super fun tactical experience. Although it says 4 on the box, it really is a story that runs in parallel to the earlier games, so you can jump right in with this one without having played any of the others. The game itself is amazing. The battles feel more varied and need more thought especially on harder modes to achieve high scores or (in some cases) complete. The multiple classes (scouts, troopers, lancers, grenadiers, snipers and tanks) are varied enough you have to change up who you put in the field under certain conditions, a nice change from the original game where you could almost solo chapters with scouts. I would buy this game again without a thought. It is good for new players and for old.

This game takes place during the same timeline as the first game in the series, but told through new characters and their perspective. If you love the first game and want more of the same experience, definitely check this game out as well!

The AI is still predictable. Game was a little to easy.

Game is very fun, and has a unique style for its graphics and gameplay. Takes a while to get into, but once you got a flow and squad, the addiction kicks in. Very fun strategy game.

Love this series! I've only just started it but it seems to have all the great stuff from the old games but more. This is a step in the right direction again and what made the original so great!

Definitely a game I can recommend people to get - especially if you're a fan of previous entries to the series. The only downside is there's a LOT of story snippets to this game, so you'll have to be patient with all of it. Most of it is really well done though, and this game does a better job of fleshing out the cast of characters better than its predecessors.

Huge fan of the series. This is easily the best entry thus far. Great story and characters. Difficulty curve was spot on, so many memorable battles. Even the end-game content is great.

Overall the game feels average with some decent evolution over the previous titles. I enjoyed the gameplay and that is pretty much the extent of it. Story doesn't really stand out but the character moments are where the game shines outside of combat.

Just like the first game, Sega has done it again with the return of this classic series. Gameplay is good as expected. Well done to the dev team.

I loved the 3rd installment of Valkyria so I saw this one, the story is different but the cartoon type art during world war type time is really addictive.

The game has a learning curve and is unique compared to most games. I would just be patient and learn it and if you like those type of games you will enjoy it.

Really intriguing rpg. Would recommend it to any gamers looking for a interactive story game. Pretty good graphics. Cartoonish feel, reminded me of harvest moon.

Great game. Similar mechanics to the first game. Mix between srpg and elements from a 3rd person shooter is best way I can describe it.

Finally the sequel everyone wants, not the garbage that was Revolution. It plays just like the first, but that's not a bad thing at all. Awesome game.

If you liked the other games in this series you should like this one. Although this type of game play is not for everyone, it is enjoyable.

Great gameplay. Kinda annoying with action turnbased. Rather have unlimited time without pausing. Hate you can't speed up enemy movement

If the last valkria chronicles left a bad taste in your mouth then fear not cause this one is like the original remastered one
