I love this movie. I first saw the books but it’s something o out a movie that interest more. It was a great buy for my daughter who likes to watch Vampires just like me.

Recommend this movie, really good, more then once

This was an alright movie. I would put it in the b movie category .

My favorite books are the vampire academy series, and I had been counting down the days until this movie was made and released. I loved the casting and how they did it. I wish they had added a bit more from the books since it went by so fast, especially to help hose who hadn't read the books understand a bit better. But still, great movie.

Finally a vampire movie with no sparkles. Movie is a good refresher from the sparkly films. This film features a cast of newbies along with well known actors. The film does live up to the ad, from the director of Mean Girls and the writer of Heathers, it does feel like a mixture of those two films with vampires thrown in.

I loved the character that was the focus of the movie. It did not follow the book from that standpoint that both were supposed to be coequal in the story. Fun and fast paced. Some good humor. I wish the movie had done bigger box office as i would love to see the series progress on screen with these characters.

The only thing i wish was different woukd be a dvd combo, but i got it on.sale for 15 dollars on day one, most amazing deal for this must own flick, i saw this in theatres twice and it looks just as amaxing at home, it sticks pretty close to the book as well i hooe they make more it ends with the ability to add on as well lets hope they cover the other books, the actors they chose were amazing and perfect for the characters, if you see this on the shelves definatly pick it up and watch watch watch it again.

This campy feature, takes place in a boarding school for vampire teens, and their protectors. We have royal vampires, good vampires, and of course the bad. The plot was predictable, but this movie is a good escape from the real world, and does not necessarily require your full attention.

It's a very entertaining movie. The storyline is different. The action scenes and special effects are good. Some of the actors are weak but overall it's average acting. The main plot of the story is good and the twist at the end is not expected.

If your a teen girl who loves Twilight, this movie is a small consulation. There are small references to Twilight in a joking manner. Some other review's have made some coments about this movie being a combination of Twilight and Harry Potter. True, but this move is in my opinion is a Sleeper. If you awake and there isn't anything on TV this movie is OK. No the greatest movies in the world or the worst. The studio and the producers tried to this into another franchise like the films mention before, however it seamed like everyone is trying to hard on the same story line. Please someone try something Original.

Loved the book series so I thought I’d give the movie a try. It wasn’t too bad. I enjoyed watching it multiple times when I was in the mood for teen movies.

Good movie. Main character Rose is awesome. Great lead actress. Vampires are shown in a whole new light. This movie does a good job at following the books. Wish it was longer to add more details. Worth watching.

I liked the movie, I liked the book better, I watched it with someone who has not read the book and at some points had to explain what happened because some scenes didn't make sense too them.

Great Movie. Didn't think I would like it, but was pleasantly surprised. The lead actress is funny and quirky, which I didn't expect. This made up for some of the other lesser moments.

This movie is a great movie if you want to watch something with teenage drama mixed with some humor. I think the main actors were perfectly picked and do a pretty good job following the book. There is a lot of information in the book that of course gets left out but that's how it goes. Can't wait for the next one!

This movie proved itself to be far better than previous critics let on. They said things like it was in no relation to the book and that the actors were terrible. In reality the movie connected beautifully with the book and the actors were world class. In my opinion this is a very well put together creation.

Came to my local Best Buy, and found exactly what I was looking for. Read the book. The movie is good, but could've been better. Overall satisfied with my purchase.

only 4 stars to the movie was so-so It wasn't bad, but just didn't make me want to talk it up later. BluRay quality on my system always good and same for sound.

I was kinda expecting more out of this movie but may be because I read the books first. It was good overall but could have been better.

Great movies and story tale hope to see more soon on the continuing story, my granddaughter just loved it from beginning to end.
