Great movie and sequel to another great movie!!!!!

Not the greatest of superhero films, but it t is quite the fun to watch. Especially if you like Tom Hardy. Lots of action, with exceptional C.G.I.

When I bought the original venom I wasn't too sure on how good it was going to be I was actually shocked. The cast the storyline it was all good and it was worth the money to buy it. Now then I'm let there be carnage was good but I thought it could have been better. Having Woody harrelson play carnage was okay. Yet seeing him try to play somebody who's on the level of being psychotic wasn't so great. I know people who could do better. On all the graphics the CGI was all good I will not deny that I thought the ending was kind of a little stupid saying venom actually eat the symbiote carnage. Now as any comic book fan would know Carnage is just like venom almost indestructible but to think another symbiote could eat the other just makes it a little stupider. The storyline I thought honestly could have been better. All in all if you own the original venom then buy venom let there be carnage.

Beautiful steelbook, a little bit if a fail in that they use the same picture three times just at different zoom levels for the front/back/ inner art but still very nice. I do lind of wish they had gotten the same artist that did the even more beautiful Venom steelbook to do this one but internal consistency to a franchise seems to be a real challenge in this realm. If it isn't in a boxed set, they just don't try. Since steelbooks appeal largely only to collectors you would think that might be a consideration. Regardless, its pretty. The movie looks good, its just ok to me... Tom Hardy is a joy again but this one comes out with about the same rating for me... so if you liked Venom you will probably like this too. I you didn't, this won't change your mind. I gave the movie a 3 star but bump it a star because the steelbook is great. The 4K transfer is good. No real complaints here. Definitely worth a pick up if you are a fan of the genre.

The first Venom felt a little weird, but got better with subsequent viewings. So having been acclimated to the world of everyone's favorite oily symbiote, I was excited to see Let There Be Carnage. But let's be honest...these are B-movies with A-list actors and blockbuster budgets. Tom Hardy continues to deliver and is the main reason to see a Venom movie. Meanwhile, Woody Harrelson gives us an unhinged performance that's part Mickey Knox from Natural Born Killers and part.......blood red alien goo. It's silly, it's gratuitous, it's not going to win any writing, directing or acting awards (well, maybe Tom Hardy deserves some recognition). But it's a fun action packed way to spend an hour and a half. And with the spider-verse cracking wide open all around us, probably not a bad idea to keep up with Venom if you're into any of the many Spider-man adjacent movies these days.
