    I have had less expensive phones operate better, but they died in under 2 years. This phone has the hardware to operate better, but there is constant lag, and several apps crash for no reason. It freezes quite often as well. I make sure my updates are current.

    This phone has an octa-core processor but does not handle voice and data simultaneously very well. Great delays and broken voice calls. Comparing to Motorola G4 also an octa-core has much better performance.

    Bought this with high expectation of replacing my older Note 4, considering the way better camera, OS, and wfi. Nope. After activating, it needed several updates which took forever, and then confused itself by trying to do the same updates and then backing out or canceling altogether. Wifi wouldn't connect half the time nor detect any signal or booster, and navigating through the phone's settings was useless as it is not user-friendly. The phone took forever to detect the SIM and keep me connected to the Verizon network. Just overall bunk. Obviously a bum phone.
