it does ok but has trouble keeping internet or signal and continues to drop them at any time any where including at hot-spots.

Wife has to continuously go to & from "settings" to switch from English to Spanish & back. She's not happy about that.

The phone is ok but you can’t getareally good case for it andnoinsurance because it is prepaid.

Poor calling reception, slow download time, unremarkable performance

This phone is terrible for the price it lags, freezes and to expensive for the performance. If you want a good reliable phone look to the moto E4 Or E4 Plus they start at $60 and are way better then this galaxy. and the screen looks to washed out

Has this phone for two years and it was sufficient but the picture quality was bad and I had problems with it the last 6 months. I would not buy this again.

I received a Verizon pre-paid Moto G4 Play as a Christmas gift in 2016. It was without a doubt one of the worst phones I've ever owned. It was somewhat of a relief when I dropped it on Sunday and the screen cracked. That meant I could finally justify replacing it with a more reliable product. I originally wanted an unlocked phone to avoid the bloatware. I also like to root my devices so I can install Titanium Backup for my games. However, the only CDMA compatible, unlocked, devices Best Buy offered in stores were Motorolas for $250 - $350. Nope! Next up from that were two LG devices that had horrible reviews and the Samsung Galaxy S/Apple lines. I refuse to pay close to a grand for something that will be obsolete in a few months. So the Samsung Galaxy J7 seemed like my best bet. So far, I haven't been disappointed. Pros: - The display - Battery Life - Minimal bloatware - Internal memory - Charging - Built in weather widget and customizable themes - Camera - Call quality - Audio quality Cons: - Best Buy does not carry cases in-store - No NFC - Bootloader is locked and as far as I'm aware no one has found a solution for rooting - Inability to disable certain system apps

I ended up having to return this phone because I was under the impression my sister would be able to pop her SIM card in and use it right off the bat. Apparently with pre-paid you have to get a different number and use it for a month first before you can go back to your old number if you pay monthly. It was misleading, so we ended up returning it and just going to Verizon instead. The Best Buy people were great though and made the return without charging the restocking fee. Lesson learned.

Nice phone but after a few mandatory security updates for the phone, the phone became a headache and was extremely slow.

I thought this phone would be great. Boy was I ever wrong. This is absolutely without a doubt the worst phone I have ever had in my life. Dropped calls dropped internet. It wasn't at all what I expected! It doesn't even touch my Droid Turbo. Don't buy this product you'll be disappointed. I took it back right away.

After being assured by a samsung rep that was in store the day i purchesed it that it would work exactly like my galexy s phone did i made the biggest mistake in buying it. Nothing could be more wrong. It works nothing like it.

Not happy with the purchase. Trouble making calls from contact list. Slow opening apps. Will dial a number and nothing happens. I wouldn’t waste money on purchasing this phone.

Poor product, kept freezing up, dropping calls. Refuses to function at critical times.. Kept shutting down.. Hard to use.. Does fine later all if a sudden.. Wacky device, hated it..

It takes a few hour's to get it to 30℅ charge and I am not happy with the phone. The service I received from the employee was excellent..He did an amazing job.

I am a never Samsung buyer after this purchase. I can't use the phone to get calls. I can not answer when I get a call. Junk!!!

This phone has a lot of power with SD625 clocked @ 2.2(914-SC & 4391-MC on Geekbench4), very good screen/display, excellent battery life, vey good camera for an 8 mega pixel shooter, equipped with Knox and IMO very good build quality & heft! Effective phone, nothing special nor feature rich and comes with STOCK ANDROID....exactly what I've been looking for and for $159.99, excellent phone & purchase.

Phone does not have the same signal strength which results in calls missed, and calls not able to be sent

Don't like this phone at all...nothing but adds between backing out of all apps...

This phone is garbage i expected more from the galaxy product line
