I was able to start my car in the garage from my kitchen table using my Android smartphone. I got a message within 30 seconds that the car had received the signal. It took a minute or two for the signal to actually start the car...but it works. This is great given the Polar Vortex Chicago is in right now.

So convenient to use anywhere you have a phone signal you can start your car awesome!!!!

Returned this item after 1 day. When I purchased this item I was told that there is not other fees associated with using the Smart Module. After Best Buy installed it they informed me that there was a subscription fee to pay before it would work. This isn't cheap to start with let alone an ongoing monthly fee. The plans range from $70-$100 per year. I'm sure it works great but after spending $500 for a complete remote start system another $100 per year was a deal breaker.

Good for the winter time....Great to use when you need car to warm up....

I think the fact that it is on my phone & I am able to start my car when I'm way far away.

I should have bought this an electric starter a long time ago.

Product works great. Have not found any problems with reception or transmission like I had read in some reviews. Only problem I've had so far is I have a push start vehicle. When I get to my car it some times turns off when I put it in gear. Unfortunately one time I put my pocket book with my phone and keys in on the passenger side. When I shut the door and walked around the car to the driver side the car shut off locking my phone and keys in the car. Since the company can't remote unlock it for you, even with your account number and password I wound up downloading the app on my friends phone and using my login information on there to get back in my car. Other than that it works perfect.

Love this product i can start my car from anywere now from my phone or apple watch a must have if u like to start ur car at places u cant with this u can from anywere

I love the convenience this provides me. The weather doesn't matter now. Distance doesn't matter now. Best item about viper. Wish it wad cheaper but well worth the money!

I love this. My car is 2 tenths of a mile from my desk at work. A regular remote starter wouldn't work until I got out of the building and then it would not be warmed up by time I got to it. I had my sister put the app on her phone and when my phone died at work, I used my friends phone (that could not have the app on it) to call her and she started my car for me. She lives in Florida while I am in Kansas City. Worked great.

I don't like this as well as the Viper starter. Sometimes it doesn't work... It relays the message that it received the command I placed on it, but 3 minutes later, it still hadn't started the car

I love this product. I can start my car via my phone from any where at any time. Very useful during this cold winter.

There has been only one time it did not work and that was because the cell service was bad. I have. It had this in cold weather yet, but am looking forward to using it to warm up my truck and not having to go outside the start it.

It became a difficult gift to give. The sales associates did not have knowledge of the product when they sold it to me. I brought it in for installation 30 days later to Geek Squad (the earliest appointment available) and it was not the right product. Best buy did not want to refund because it was opened (by their employees) and it exceeded the return policy date (this was the earliest day Best Buy had available). I am extremely dissatisfied with the whole process. I brought the vehicle to Sounds Good in Bridgeport, CT and it was completely easy to get the correct product installed.

In using this product I think it is one of the best on the market and will buy another one for my vehicle.

I purchased this item for the cold winter nights and mornings. I am using this with a 2012 maxima. This item works very good. Jeff in the perimeter store was very knowledgeable about this item. Great experience

The viper remote is a great item and dependable for cold or hot days to warm car up on cold days and cool car on warm days . The viper app it easy to use

This is a great product from viper. I can start my truck from anywhere I have cell phone service. I love it on these cold mornings.
