I’ve been using the Vitesy Shelfy for a while now, and I can honestly say it makes a big difference. My fridge smells fresher and cleaner, and I’m not constantly replacing boxes of baking soda anymore. The fact that it’s rechargeable makes it both eco-friendly and easier on the wallet in the long run. What really sets it apart is the companion app; it’s actually useful. It tracks the temperature and humidity inside my fridge and lets me know when the unit needs a recharge or some attention. It’s one of those gadgets you don’t realize you need until you have it. I'm also a shopper who avoids buying too much produce as I can't eat it fast enough before it goes bad. After starting to use the Shelfy, I have noticed my produce lasting longer, which I certainly appreciate. If you care about keeping your food fresh and your fridge odor-free, this is absolutely worth it.

I had high hopes for the Vitesy SHELFY 2, especially given the promises of prolonging food freshness and improving refrigerator air quality. Unfortunately, my experience has been overwhelmingly negative. The device functioned reasonably for the first couple of months, but roughly three months after purchase, the battery performance dropped off a cliff. It stopped holding a charge for more than two days, which completely undermines its purpose as a set‑and‑forget freshness solution. Because the USB charging is slow, I found myself charging it twice per week, often for long periods, which meant the device spent more time out of the fridge than in it. As a result, it was rarely operational long enough to produce any measurable benefit. Speaking of benefits—we noticed no meaningful improvement at all in fridge odor, food freshness, or moisture levels. If there were gains, they were subtle enough to go unnoticed. Combined with the charging issues, the overall value of the product quickly plummeted. To make matters worse, Best Buy does not offer standard protection plans for this device. Even with Membership status, they provide no support, leaving you on your own if the device fails (as mine did). At this price point, the lack of warranty support is frustrating and feels like a significant oversight. In short: The Vitesy SHELFY 2 has been a disappointment from both a performance and durability standpoint. Between the rapidly deteriorating battery life, absence of noticeable results, and zero retailer support, I cannot recommend this product to anyone.

Could not get past the firmware update on the initial setup. Kept kicking me out of the app. Was extremely frustrating and not indicative of a "Smart" device. Will be returning.
