We're older and were looking for a smart TV with a screen that not only was clear but showed light well. So many scenes in movies and TV shows take place a night, and we wanted a TV where we could enjoy those scenes as if we were in a regular movie theater. This one meets all of our needs: clarity and light.

Upgrading from a 40" to 50" was amazing. So much bigger than I thought. I've been Samsung only for years but I'm pleasantly surprised by this tv.

The 50inch Vizio is fine for the price. I'd rather not have the built-in Chromecast considering I have several Chromecast devices that work seamless with my LG G6. I am finding that the built-in Chromecast is at times unresponsive. This Vizio does not have a sleep option. The thin remote is very plain and can easily be over looked.

This "tv" is essentially a monitor with Bluetooth. The only thing "smart" about it is the Bluetooth. It doesn't come with built in apps and you cannot get any. Anything you want to stream, must be streamed (cast) from your phone unless you buy a Roku or similar device. You also can't use local channels unless you buy a tuner. What TV should require you to buy a tuner? It also doesn't have the ability to plug in your cable unless it's by hdmi through your cable box. Personally, my cable box is in the living room, which is not where I bought the "tv" for. This "tv", for me is just a big disappointment.

No tuner installed. As far as picture quality and sound, it is a great buy for the price.

Enjoying my new tv. Still learning on how to use. Booklet hS been very helpful and informative. Have also been able to control with my phone.

Good picture great for gaming watching a movie or hook up to the computer and do homework

I am new to 4K but now I have fell in love with its bright picture and wonderful effects.

We love this TV. Hooked it up to our cable box on Christmas Day and with a few tweaks was able to watch the Steeler game in crystal clear UHD.

I have never seen a TV like Vizio before in my life I would purchase and recommend Vizio to anybody that wants a TV or electronics

Only took 5 minutes to set up. Picture quality much better then first thought.

I've been a long time Vizio owner. Every other TV in my home is a Vizio. When we moved it was time to purchase a new TV and we decided a 50" would fit the space. Best Buy (where I purchase a great deal of home gadgetry). The salesman was insanely knowledgable and showed me several options in our price point (under $1k). I went in predisposed to Vizio as I'm a bit of a brand loyalist. I left with this tv, but over the course of the next week couldn't get the Sony picture out of my head. It was simply awesome. I returned this Vizio within the week and bought the Sony. It was $300 more than the Vizio, but worth every penny. I haven't regretted the financial investment. Vizio does make a comparable version of the Sony we bought but it was an additional $200 - $300. For the price and the gadgetry it comes with, the TV is great. I was looking for a great 4K Ultra HD picture and this one struggled a bit.

Great impulse buy for myself. Crisp picture and great casting from my IPhone and IPad.

This Vizio has clarity and picture crispness. The built in apps made it easy to set up for Netflix and other movie applications.

This 4K picture is exceptional, Has all the options you would ever want and the price can't be beat by the other name brands. Very Happy!!

Awesome TV and the clarity is second to none for the price. I definitely think it holds its own agianst some of the more expensive brands.

I have this same TV in a bigger version, and love them both. Super easy to setup, update, etc. Love the Cast to screen option.

Well functioning TV. Only using regular channels at this point. Love the light weight.

Purchased two on Black Friday. So glad I did. One for our master bedroom and one for a thank you gift to our best friends. Great quality.

The picture is amazing, and being able to stream from my phone helps when I don't want to run another system to play a movie or TV show
