The sound blows, but I pretty well figured it would going into it; addressed it with a sound bar. This picture is very nice. Have not played too much with settings, was awesome out of the box. The tablet remote is fine. Does mostly all android tablet stuff, accesses certain TV settings and controls casting. The sound is the only reason we are not at 5 stars. My screen is on a piece of furniture; perhaps the sound would be better with a wall mount, with the speakers closer to the wall so the sound could bounce off. But as said my choice was a sound bar (also Vizio). This screen together with the sound bar is 5 stars.

The Vizo smart cast is terrible and I haven’t used it much finding it difficult to navigate. The TV just stopped working twice due to a need for updates. The TV tells me It requires a new remote control gives me a code but the Vizo website tells me I do not qualify. So if you use the tv with Apple TV you will have a nice clear picture but the smart cast has been a disappointment. Overall i would recommend due to the quality of the picture.

Perfect TV with very basic remote. You have to use attached Android tablet to get almost anything from it. No TV tuner! mediocre sound but the picture! Simply almost perfect Only OLED tv will have better picture...

4K hdr 120hz local dimming. All the premium choice put inside a premium housing for a fraction of the cost when compared to rival sets. I.e. OLED or high end sets.

Specs are off the charts, and the TV delivers the color black and contrast as it should. Casting from the tablet is fun as long as you have high speed internet. I sacrificed an ultra thin panel for local dimming as this is my main TV...for serious movie watching.

Very clear / sharp picture - even for live sports. Many of my friends have commented on how nice the picture is. This TV replaced a Samsung Plasma TV which died after 18 months. The Vizio has a slightly more glare than my old plasma, so we have to turn off the light directly across from it to create the perfect movie environment. Outside of that, I think the picture is actually better. The remote is fine. I'm not an Android fan, so I use the iOS app which is well done and functional.

This tv is awesome and has great picture. The tv has HDR and Dolby Vision. So it's future content ready. The chromecast is great also. I have no complaints so far...definitely worth the price. Looks as good as some top Samsungs and Sony models.

The P series of Vizio's is their best to date. I have the 55" which is the IPS version. The ratings state that the blacks on this model is not the best in this series however the 126 LED back lighting produces great blacks and colors and since it is an IPS panel it has a wider viewing angle than it's bigger 65" brother. All in all, this was a great purchase.

Found this TV to have all the latest features needed to "future-proof" like 4K, HDR, backlit full-array LED, "ultra color spectrum", other buzzwords, etc. The 6" HD tablet with wireless charging stand is a nice innovation. It's much easier to navigate a tablet than it is a Smart TV interface, so good job Vizio on partnering with Google for their Cast tech and including the Android tablet and full support for any other Android and iOS devices to cast to the TV as well. The tablet isn't anything amazing, but it works fine considering its basically just supposed to adjust TV settings and send content to your TV. The display itself looks good, but isn't anything amazing with normal 1080p content. Since there isn't a ton of real 4K content out there quite yet, I haven't had much of a chance to test that resolution out too much. You can definitely tell the contrast is there. White's are very white and blacks are very black. Everything in between pops nicely without being too unnatural.

This is my first big screen TV. Read many reviews prior to purchase. Paired with a Sonos surround sound system (soundbar, sub-woofer, etc.). TV relatively easy to setup. Picture very good (Note I have the 55 inch which uses IPS screen, other size models use VA). Works well with the Sonos system. Android controller can be confusing and takes some getting use to. Not sure I really like it. However, control application can also be installed on other android devices and iOS devises which is a plus. Plenty of inputs. All in all a nice TV for the $.

Ive had this tv for 3 years and so far it hasnt failed me. Picture quality is great and most of all the price is just right

This has great picture quality from what I have used of it so far. Though chromecast has been the the only thing to see this screens power as well as an Apple TV. I'm basing my review purely on the functions of the television currently. The tablet and chromecast is a hindered effort to this otherwise great display. One feature I would love to see is picture off like my Sony tv has. I will try to update my review once I have everything set up on the television

Excellent TV. Low latency for HDR gaming. The black levels on this thing compare to a oled. Came with a tablet to use as a remote. Has a built in chromcast for 4K streaming.

So far i'm pretty frustrated with my purchase. I was saving up for a 2016 Samsung SUHD, but then the Vizio P-Series caught my eye. The SmartCast concept with the tablet remote seemed brilliant, and since its compatible with both HDR formats AND much cheaper than other 4k TVs of the same size, I decided to go for it. So far, the TV has glitched out on me (neon colored lines and shapes and then turns off completely) twice. The SmartCast feature is slow, lags a lot and randomly turns off. Even when it functions properly for ten to fifteen minutes, the image is blurry and of lesser quality than most 720p televisions I've seen out there. I purchased Star Wars Episode VII via Google Play for 19.99. I've tried to watch it six times (no I'm not exaggerating) and every time, it just turns off. The SmartCast is NOT the appealing feature it promises to be. Its a complete let down. I have been using Apple TV instead, which seems to work perfectly fine. I am contemplating returning the TV, but am going to give it a few days to see how satisfied I am completely excluding the SmartCast features. So if I decide the TV is worth $1300 without the SmartCast aspect of it, I guess I'll amend my review and keep the TV. But I'll have a useless six inch Android Tablet.

This is NOT a TV, this is a display. That said, its operating system is dumbed down, relying on the tablet that comes with it as a remote. unfortunately the tablet isn't always super reliable as a remote. Thankfully it comes with a "dumb" remote and you can download an app on your phone that works better.

The p series vizio is the top of the line for the price. Not a fan of the smart cast but the picture looks great

This television is everything I wanted and more. This was recommended by a techie friend and it happened to be on sale, so I took the leap of faith as it was a newer technology and I am so glad I did. The tablet remote does take a bit getting used to (especially for an Apple user), but there's a normal remote to help bridge the learning curve if needed. The picture quality is excellent.

I've had the tv for a little over a month now. It is by far the best on the market (in my opinion) - excluding OLED tvs. The initial setup was pretty easy. I find that casting from my phone is more useful than from the included tablet, though the tablet works just fine.
