Love the picture on this monitor but the tablet being the main controller should be rethought

Coming from a 2007 Panny Plasma, this TV is a beautiful upgrade. It has a super wide viewing angle, deep blacks, and colors that pop. SmartCast is fun for sure and I have experienced very few hiccups. I LOVE my Vizbot 3000!

I did much research before purchasing the Vizio. It was loved by the magazine reviews; with the reviews and price I thought it was a win. However, once set up I just didn't like the picture. Not much brightness and the upscaling of 1080 just wasn't that good. If you are looking for a nice TV at this price, then it's good. I would suggest spending a few hundred dollars and get the Sony which is great at upscaling

Things I like: small bezel, sharp screen, easy quick set up. Things I don't like: tablet-to-tv reception is weak (you may have to move your wireless router closer to TV), no coax connection. Picture is clean and crisp when watching BluRay and I assume if watching tv from a cable provider. Picture quickly degrades when streaming through the tablet due to low signal lag - I'm not expecting 1080p from streamed material but the 1995 lag is pretty lame. Hopefully this improves with a better android tablet.

I've owned this for 3 years now and it's been a great set. I've nothing bad to say. Sound from the speakers is fine though I've always had it hooked up to surround.

After researching a lot, I decided to go with this one. It replaces another Visio TV that will go to the bedroom. Great picture quality and awesome features. Even the regular "not 4K" looks amazing

Bought this tv after reading all the positive reviews I mounted the tv over my fireplace and it does not disappoint, I can view the tv from any angle great quality picture and great sound.

This tv is all around amazing, I'm just blown away by how it looks.

Though it irked me at first that this non-TV did not have an onboard tv tuner, I don't miss it at all because I use cable and will probably never cut the cord. This display has beautiful color & contrast. The picture is outstanding, even when upconverting. The Googlecast feature took a little getting used to, but I can see that it is an innovative way to provide content and that it makes use of the ability of easily updating an app. Because this display(P55-C1)utilizes an IPS screen, it's great for viewing from a wide room. You can be 45deg. off angle & still not have a "washed-out" picture, like on some VA panels. Best TV/display I have ever owned!

I originally purchased a 65" m class vizio which was too big for my wife's tastes. We returned to our local Best Buy which they were fantastic about the salesperson suggested the 55" P55-C1. I did have some issues figuring out which input was designated for use with HDR10 to play 4K DVDs but once it was setup I have had no issues. We have not watched anything HDR yet but the up scaling from 1080p has been amazing. I am thoroughly impressed with the picture on the tv and can not wait to see something actually in Ultra HD.

Love the display! The tablet responds very well with TV.. Nice apps... Dolby Vision is great.. Presets ok its better off manually tuned! So far no issues . Great low input lag.

Picture is great. TV is a little deeper than other TV's of same size. Though the tablet remote is nice and useful, can be annoying trying to quickly get to menu of TV.

Great television. After calibration is when this television really comes into its own. Also great for gaming with the low latency gaming mode. Also HDR is amazing.

Long term gaming monitor and main HTPC moved to everyday use as sports, tv, and 2nd PC monitor. lasted about 5 years with limited issues that came up within the last 6 months of use. Worth to get protection. Updates from Vizio made this better over time. Amazed that did not pay too much for the "smart" features that just got better over time(fine wine affect)! Ensured I want Vizio from best buy in future.

I bought this 4k tv 2 weeks before Xmas and I love it, great pic, makes everything pop! My ps4 games look great and streaming movies looks fantastic

We originally bought a Sony but it was too dark then we bought this TV. We love it great picture and wonderful price. Very happy with this purpose.

Great value for the price. 4K and HDR. Also the tablet remote is great.

4k movies streamed from VUDU look unbelievable. LED back lighting is much better and more uniform picture than edge lit LG and Samsung TVs.

I love my new TV! The picture quality is incredible! Do yourself a favor and buy this TV!
