Ultra Hi - Definite Hood Buy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly didn't expect to see too big of a difference between my other UHD tv and this Vizio, but man was I wrong. The setup, system and picture rival most of the bigger brand TVs in the same size. This TV did not disappoint and has an easy to use input system.

My personal experience with this tv.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv is great! The quality is awesome for my needs but I’ve had issues where the audio gets messy and out of sync with the video multiple times. Sometimes the smart hub takes awhile to load up and sometimes, I lose the video completely and the video turns dark grey. I have to unplug the tv and re plug a few minutes later to fix this. I would honestly recommend passing on this TV if you can afford it. It’s a great Black Friday TV and that’s it.

Vizio 65" V Series TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV's have excellent picture quality. TV is wifi capable however you must update the tv for the wireless capabilities to be active. I ended up needing to acquire new TV stands as this TV is alot larger than the TV's I am replacing.

Not worth the frustration
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We’ve had the tv for about 5 months now, and we regret it immensely. We were drawn in by the low price, but I don’t know why we didn’t remember that you get what you pay for. It is a great picture, and I really love the set up of the home screen with Vizio. If you plan to stream, that’s what’s the problems begin. It constantly freezes and you have to unplug it and let it reset for it to work. At times, you can’t even click on the apps on the home page. It’s reached the point that it freezes up multiple times a day. It’s maddening. If you plan to cast anything at all, be prepared to be constantly frustrated. If you use any streaming services, be prepared to repeatedly have to reset the tv. I wish we would have spent more money on a different brand. This is the second Vizio we’ve had problems with, and I wish we’d have learned after the first one.

65 inch Vizio television
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent 65 inch television for the price. We only watch this particular television at night before going to bed IF we watch at all. We do however listen to relaxing music to sleep by on YouTube, so we turn on the T.V and go to You Tube, make our selection, and then we go to Vizio Blank Screen feature which allow us to listen to the music while the tv goes to a blank screen; that's a nice feature. Paid a total of $550.00 which includes taxes AND a 5 year warranty at Best Buy.

Great TV for the Price
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far this TV is great. I was going to give it 3 stars at first because of picture quality. I was expecting a more vivid picture but had to check my expectations. This is a quality TV but a budget TV at $500. I can’t expect a $1400 look. So after a few weeks of watching and dialing in the settings I think this TB is great. I’m using a 4K Firestick on it. Because of that I haven’t used much of the built in smart TV apps. But i assume it works well based on reviews I’ve read.

Exceeds Expectations
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our 50" TV died and we debated a lot about brand/size//if we wanted a smart TV. We are SO GLAD we went with this TV!! Free channels that are actually good. The interface is so impressive and easy to configure with all your accounts. Picture quality is crisp and true to color...makes our 4 year old Samsung TV look terrible. No issues with the apps or connectivity. Light and fairly thin - we have it mounted but used the feet the first few days and they are very sturdy. It has volume buttons ON the unit. You can download an app to control it, but the remote is great too. Trying to convince ourselves not to go buy another...

Would buy another Vizio.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Curb side pick up was quick and easy. Setup was very easy as well. My second Vizio television. I have not had any problems with either of them. Not as clear or thin as the $1000+ television’s, but it is still 4K clear.

Vizio, finally stepped up.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is a great buy. It's the most advanced Vizio I've seen in a few years. They updated EVERYTHING witht this one. I actually purchased this to replace a broken Samsung and it's just as good and costs less.

Best TV I've owned!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just bought this TV and so far I am very pleased with it. I'm an avid gamer and play on my Limited Edition Gears 5 Xbox One X. I was previously playing on a 43" Onn (ONA43UB19E04) that I purchased at a pawn shop for around $140 thats also 4k, but doesn't have HDR10 nor Dobly Sound, and isn't even a smart TV. The Onn TV had great picture though for its low end price bracket tv, i will give it that, and i really didn't need it to be a smart TV due to the fact that I could use my xbox as a smart extender. But I really was disappointed with the missing HDR10 and Dobly sound, which effected my game play quite a bit.Thankfully The Vizio V555G1 55" I bought made sure to make up for the bells and wisstles that the Onn TV was sadly lacking. Now when I go into my xbox one x's video setting I get all green check marks for 4k HDR and Dobly sound functions and unlike the Onn TV which would only run at a color depth of 24 bits per pixel (8 bit), I can now happily run at the Xboxs top level of color depth 36 bits per pixel (12 bit), making a huge difference in graphical ability and showing me everything that I've been sadly missing until now. I run my xbox through a Monster Ultra Gold 4k platinum gold tipped cable that seems to work extremely well with the Vizio TV, and I am currently trying to hook up a BlackWeb 5.1 soundbar w/wireless paired subwoofer, and have the Vizio mounted on a mobile roling stand that holds the up to 80 inches and/or up to 70 lbs, which has 2 extra shelves, one above and behind the vizio tv where I have my xbox, and one I front and below the vizio tv which holds my sound bar and subwoofer. The stand irronicly enough is made by Onn. The combination all together is more than satisfactory, and the vizio tv was easily enough to mount to the stand. CONS: While I sp love the TV, the remote is kind of disappointing in ways. I do love the feel of it as it does feel comfortable in my hand, some of the small buttons are hard to read, and I have exceptional vision. Case in point would be the watchfree button located directly above the home key,if it had diffrent colored text it might have made the small print easier to read. Also when it comes to the input button, it doesn't give your thumb enough time to transition to make a choice with the arrow buttons before it closes the input option menu and i have to press the input button again and some times even use both hands to make sure I catch the options in time to make my selection. Other than that, I have no other problems thus far with the TV itself, and I'm quite satisfied with my purchase.

SmartCast is not so smart...
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have three TV's. One is an Amazon Fire TV, another is an older TV that I have a Roku plugged into, and now this one that uses "SmartCast." I've not had cable for years so I rely heavily on these platforms. I don't have any complaints about the Fire TV or the Roku. Of the two I prefer the Roku (picture is better and just seems to run a little quicker). I will be buying a Roku to plug into this TV and that annoys me. SmartCast has been so unreliable. I have had to restore to factory settings 3 times already and we have had the TV for less than 3 weeks. The picture is good on this TV, the stand was easy to set up, and it is the perfect size for us. Sound is not great but worked well with external speakers. If you are looking for a reliable Smart TV this is probably not it.
