Good tv overall, but sound is very low. Have to be turned up loud to be hearable from a few feet away

I purchased this tv believing it will work fine because vizio is a great brand, the video randomly went out one day and I got the run around if it would be fixed or not even though I paid for protection.

Good, but Auto Brightness really dims the set

At first I wasn't very happy with this TV (75 inch) because the picture was fairly dim- and the room it is in isn't super bright. Then I turned off Auto Brightness which I assume is the FALD feature. I thought there would be issues with blacks being blown out without FALD enabled. They certainly aren't as black with it enabled, but it is still acceptable to me- far more acceptable than it being very dim overall. With FALD enabled, the blacks are a touch blacker, but the detail within the blacks still isn't great. But, this is Vizio's least expensive 75 inch screen, so my expectations weren't to have a set that blows me away.
According to the cnet.com review, there are two versions of the E75-F2, one with a IPS panel and one with a VA panel. I ended up (late September 2018) getting one with an IPS panel. The review states that VA panels do better with off axis viewing. My side seats are about 20 degrees from straight on. I was worried that the picture would be more dim from these seats, but the difference is hardly noticeable.
I have it in a basement that's a secondary hangout, so I just wanted an inexpensive large TV (couch is 16 feet back from the wall!) It fulfills my needs fine at it's price point.

I purchased this TV on 02/01/2019 and it stopped working on 8/28/2021. The screen won't turn on anymore and I have tried to do a hard reset, but nothing works. Don't waste your money.
