It was a deal and we hoped it would be compatible with a 2019 65” Vizio TV but, alas, it’s not. It feels like two different companies built them and it’s an utter mess. Synchronization of audio is great on BluRay and streaming services. However, on broadcast, the audio is a solid second delayed. This will cause your brain to explode. Audio sync is set to the minimum. Typically it’s the other way around, the audio is ahead because the tv is trying to process the video. Not with this mess. After working with Vizio support, they did confirm that you cannot disable the sound bar from automatically turning on. That said, you can’t watch broadcast HDTV and use the normal TV speakers. The SmartCast app does not work with this sound bar either. We’re tried using the “hold the device close to the end cap of the sound bar” method as well as connect through the WiFi network. Each time it says “device cannot be found.” Then the device is added to your list of connected devices and all of the buttons are grayed out except for the power button. Tapping the power button causes an iPhone 11 Pro to violently vibrate and the sound bar does nothing. This hunk of garbage is being promptly returned. Buyer beware. You get what you pay for.
