I don't consider myself a maggot; however, I've followed Slipknot since their major release debut album and they haven't disappointed yet. I really support them as they are from my home state of Iowa and have to represent the music out here on the West Coast. Overall, this whole album is solid and pretty hard contrary to other people's beliefs that they are getting soft with each album. I really like Slipknot and they have never ceased to amaze me with each release. If you like nu-metal, grab this one today. Great price too!

I bought this cd for my grandson for his birthday. He said it was one of his best presents!!

A fine combination of melody and screaming as this band from Des Moines, Iowa demonstrates on this release. Produced by Rick Rubin (Beastie Boys, Red Hot Chili Peppers), Slipknot responds to the legendary producer with flying colors that can hold up with any previously Rubin-produced band. Worth the price at $7.99.

This is likely Slipknot's most mainstream release in their vaunted metal career, however, the men in masks still rock just as hard. The screaming vocals of the preceding album's, Slipknot, and Iowa, take a back seat to more melodic work, allowing vocalist, Corey Taylor, to give the band a fresh sound while expanding sonically. Hits such as "Duality," "Vermillion," and "Before I Forget," are three of the finest singles Slipknot has produced, while deep tracks such as "Three Nil," "Opium of the People," and "Circle" are masterpieces.
