I bought the first one years ago with extended warrenty. That one started throwing error A1 (ATTENTION CODES A1: Power head is not attached to the base. If you detach the power head while the humidifier is running, or if power head is not properly attached to the base, the humidifier will power off.) Even when assembled correctly the error kept happening. I returned it and used my warrenty and now a year later the same error now that I take it out of storage clean it and spend 10 min attaching it because the mold does not fit the slpt on my unit. Please just get a cheap one that works and not this one that will break in a year.

it easy for setup, but it a little noise about 20 db to 30db in 3ft but i think i got this item by someone return because box was open and double tape on box, when i open water tank had little water inside, but it still good

I have had many of the cheap cool mist ultrasonic humidifiers over the years, they eventually break or get super gross after a few years. I decided to invest in something nice this time around and wanted something that didn’t look as ugly, and this one does look nice. It is my first hot mist humidifier and it is so much more effective than the cool mist, I was amazed at how much quicker it could raise the humidity in the room. The oil diffuser is also nice, I put a few drops of peppermint oil in and the air has a nice menthol feel to help me breathe. Cleaning seems very easy. The lid of the tank is the entire width of the cylinder, this makes it really easy to fill and easy to wipe down, unlike most with a tiny opening. The one fatal flaw of the product is that there is no way to turn off the LED display, so it constantly shines a bright light at night. It says it has an ambient light sensor to adjust the brightness, but it doesn’t seem to do anything. For a product that is so well designed otherwise, it is a massive oversight. Overall I would still recommend it though, unless you just have to sleep in complete darkness. Pros: -Elegant design -Easy to clean -Easy to fill -Adjustable humidity target -Adjustable steam temp -Very effective at being a humidifier -Essential oil diffuser Cons: -No way to turn off bright display, it is a night light -It can burn you on hottest setting, probably not good for kids (but why it is so effective)

The air in the bottom half of our house gets so dry I was having a hard time sleeping. I would wake up with a parched throat and dry nose. Enter the Vornado...bought mainly because of its small footprint and the fact it claims it will service 1000 sq ft I thought I'd give it a shot. It works...the only thing I didn't like was a small magnet that is used inside. The unit kept shutting off and error coding until I figured out the magnet was falling out...I used a small drop of plumbers putty and fixed. My 300sq ft bedroom is now at a comfortable 45% humidity. Cold, warm and hot steam ( I find cold lasts about 12 hours - hot around 4-5), auto-shutoff and a feature that controls on and off when it reaches the desired humidity. Cleaning is a snap - breaks down to 5 pieces for quick cleaning. We have hard water so I do it weekly.

This humidifier works well. If you have it on the highest setting, it runs out of water fairly quickly. When it runs out of water, a light flashes on and off and it is quite bright. It wakes me out of a deep sleep. It also needs to be cleaned every week which is a bit of a project - you need to take it apart and use citric acid to clean it. Other than that, it does what it needs to do.

Bought this for our bedroom as the air was just so dry! I have dry eyes and this has helped so much! The humidifier is quiet and the touch buttons are easy to use. You can easily adjust the percent of humidity you want to run!

This product works well, and really gets our babies nursery to a good humidity fast. The steam and warm mist are fantastic and keep the air quality perfect for our little one. Couple things I've noticed for potential buyers: -This will eat through a gallon of distilled water in a night, if you have a larger room. -It claims to have auto-dimming display, but I haven't noticed it dim the control panel in a dark room. -Whisper quiet -Auto-humidity sensors appear to work well. -Some of the markings on the control panel wear off easily if you use the steam features often (due to higher temps). Its still easy to understand what button does what.

I would definitely recommend this humidifier to anyone who's home tends to dry out from time to time. The two different steam settings are an incredible convenience if you've been gone for a while or need to boost the humidity fast! The tank is extremely easy to clean and the handle makes it very easy to tote from the sink to the humidifier! Multiple options for control, the automatic humidity level is a very nice feature to have as the device will automatically shut off once the room has reached the specific humidity level you have selected (shown on the LED screen). On top of all that, it looks nice and modern too!

I've always needed humidifiers and they can be such a pain, either with buying a million filters, or the white dust everywhere, or being a real pain in the a-- to clean. This was pretty decent, would last about 2 days on a gallon of water, DISTILLED being key to keeping away the white dust. good size for my bedroom and a formidable foe to the dry heat NYC pre-war apartment radiator. Only weird thing is you pick it up by a handle on the top, flip it over to fill it the tank then flip it back over upside down. Other than that it has been really good. Now we have air purifiers, how great it would be if the came all in one. Air purifier/humidifier....hmmm

Purchased for newborn and to have consistent air in room. Works great for a typical size room and settings can be changed manually or automatically. Great buy for the price and easy to clean.

Brand need to listen customers. Never answered my suggestions. Can't turn light off. So bright at night. Water tank is not enough for a night long. Humidity sensor very poor, doesn't read and keep vaporizing non stop. got a beautiful design and a very easy water tank filling. Need improvement

I love the control you have on humidity levels. Even on the low recommended levels of 35% I notice my skin was not as scratchy this past winter. When I wasn't feeling as well I used the hot feature for a little extra protection. It is also pretty easy to clean. The only down side was I don't think the well for essential oils works all that well, I still use my diffuser.

A total life saver in the winter when the dry cold air and the dry central heating air collide to make it impossible to breathe or swallow. Total improvement, and now I can sleep through the night. Love the various settings. Haven't had to clean it yet after a few weeks, but the directions are clear. No mess or powder anywhere, and mine runs on Auto at 50-55% humidity

Great device. Easy settings with wide range of choices. Quiet. 1 gal tank could/should be bigger.

Quiet, goodlooking, easy to fill. The only neg is it gives off some light at night. I prefer darkness.

It is very easy to refill and clean. It uses water much faster than noted in the literature.

It’s so quiet and easy to care for. I like the choice of cool, warm or hot mist. The humidity control is great. I keep it at 60% and sleep all night without coughing. I would recommend one in every room of the house!

I chose this humidifier because of the option to add essential oils and the lack of a filter. Overall very satisfied. The only issue is that when it runs out of water during the night, instead of turning off, the LED display just continually blinks. Other than that, very satisfied.

It seems like it runs out of water quickly. I only used it once, It was quiet, and seemed effective.

I really wanted this to be a wonderful humidifier. Mostly little things that bother me. It hold almost a gallon of water. If your pouring from a gallon jug you always end up with half a cup left over. Small issue but annoying. Seems to function as a humidifier should however I get a lot if error messages and it stops running in the night sometimes.
