Cameras are great and easy to set up. The app is wonderful as well. These have lasted us at for over 2 years and going strong. We are able to talk through the monitor as well as the app too, night vision is great quality! Would buy again for sure.

Started off great. A few months in, only one camera would register. A couple months after that, the “bad” camera wouldn’t stay on. The switch kept sliding to the off position. Recently, the “good” camera started doing the same things. I saw similar reviews before we bought ours, hoping for a different outcome. No luck :-/ Not worth the money. The screen and camera quality are decent, and I liked the built in sound machine options.

I am happy with this monitor and have had no issues after about 4-6 weeks. Originally had the 7” screen version and it never stayed connected and would cut out. Tried everything but exchanged for this version to give it a shot. So far so good. Glad I was able to make it work because I needed 2 cameras for each kids room and wanted a handheld screen and app capabilities. Not a lot of monitors offer all of these things. We have a long extended ranch home and have had no connectivity issues in the basement or far from babies room. I really like the split screen option to view both cameras at once.

Works amazing but after owning for 2 weeks one camera won’t connect to the wifi or the monitor. I tried troubleshooting the problem, but nothing seems to work.

Loved this set initially; picture was super clear wven with night vision, was able to pan to see my toddle running about, wide angle to see most of the room, screen goes to sleep to save battery and comes back on with noise or movement detection...but one of the cameras lost connection within a few days and was unable to reconnect. I followed att the troubleshooting instructions and still couldn't connect, even switched cameras do i know it wasn't the location or proximity to my router or to the parent unit. I contacted vtech but got no response. Given the other bad reviews i just returned it for refund.

When the monitor works it’s great. We loved having 2 cameras and the dual view on the monitor, but I would likely not purchase this again. The connection is spotty and now after 6 months it the monitor wont connect to the cameras at all. For $170 I would expect it to work much longer than 6 mo. This is the second time we have purchased this assuming that the first was just faulty, but overall I don’t think it’s a lasting monitor and would not recommend.

Reading the other reviews, I see that I'm not alone. These units simply do not work. I have exchanged this product four times. FOUR TIMES!! And not one of them worked. Every single time they would connect for a couple of hours, and then poof, no connection. Every time I called the manufacturer they simply said the cameras were defective and to get them replaced. Well after four times I am over this. I have good experiences with VTech in the past, so I expected a lot more - especially at $169. Time to try something else.

It just doesn't work. I didn't believe other bad reviews and figured people just didn't know how to get it connected, but it's a deeply flawed product. Cameras disconnect at random, without regard to distance, and are seemingly only reconnected with luck and multiple restarts. When it decides to work it's actually a pretty amazing system, but it's totally unreliable--which is not something a baby monitor can be.

Does everything you're buying it to do. Cameras are easy to mount and control. Monitor is clear and easy to use. Only gripe is it takes a little while to come on when powered on. Generally great overall though, and great that you can choose CC or WiFi.

The cameras do not pair and the unit does not load onto my phone. It does not work as it should and Vtech customer assistance is terrible! They don’t know what they are doing! I will return the unit and get my money back!

Definitely do not buy
Bought the first set and one of the cameras failed in 24hrs. Replaced the set and one of new cameras failed within 12hrs.
Neither time the failing camera would connect to the internet or monitor. Power light usually goes off after connecting but after failure the LED will not turn off.
The server seems to be down so often it creates anxiety about if the cameras are working.
