I will never purchase vtech again

I have had it for a little over a year now and at first everything was fine. But after a while I started having trouble with the phone shutting off randomly. I press the talk button and the phone completely turns off. The answering machine doesn't tell you the exact date that the person called it only says "Thursday at 1:48pm..." Next time I will pay a little more to get something that will last.
