Do not buy this phone. I bought this to replace an older cordless phone that had a bad battery but this is worse. The phone works great for the first month and a half then everything goes downhill from there. About 45 days after I bought this I started noticing some strange feedback where I could here my own voice echoing in the earpiece when talking to people. Then about two weeks later, I go to answer a call and the phone makes an awful buzzing noise and won't answer calls or dial out. It gives me a "No Line" message when there is nothing wrong with my phone line because all the other phones in my house work fine. Too bad this happened because the sound quality was crystal clear and the volume was great while it lasted. I regret having purchased this because now I must deal with the company to try to get a replacement.

When you try to externally retrieve phone messages, the volume played on the message is so low it is inaudible. I contacted VTech customer support and got the run around beyond belief. It turns out the volume is not adjustable, so for all practical purposes, you cannot retrieve messages externally. This phone system went in the trash and I had to buy another one, and was out the cost of this phone. Don't waste your money or time on this unit.

The LCD display went out on one of the two handsets for this phone, 45 days after purchase. The VTech company demanded that I continue to trouble shoot their product for the first two calls. During the third hour-long call, I demanded a replacement handset. Now I must return the phone, the charger base, the original receipt at my expense to receive a replacement."

1) Easy to setup 2) No wifi intereference 3) Speaker on handset is a big plus, its quite loud too. 4) Call quality is good 5) Not so important, but it looks good too
