I didn't read the reviews nor did i know that giving this watch to my little cousin for Christmas would be the most meaningful gift of them all. He loves his watch and I know Any kid would, to tell you the truth I felt a little jealous when I saw him interacting with it and no one had to show him how to use it.

My daughter was super excited to get this -- in fact, it was the only gift she asked for for the holidays. When she finally opened it, she was ecstatic, but after about 5 minutes of playing with it, she was bored. The biggest complaint was that it didn't do enough. Beyond what was pre-installed, my daughter was begging for me to download and install new apps. I didn't do any research on this, so I'm not even sure if this device is capable of doing that (I would assume so). Other than that, I will say that the display is bright and colorful and has good viewing angles. The touch sensitivity is good and very responsive. My daughter did enjoy taking a couple of videos and the sound/picture quality was above average, even in semi-low-light conditions. The strap is thick/chunky and fit her tiny wrist well and, as an actual watch, it more than serves its purpose (albeit in a overly large and unnecessary fashion). Was she dancing around like the kids in the commercial? No. But that's the Marketing machine at work during kids' shows making them want something they don't need. Is there any advantage to having this over a leap pad, iPad or similar tablet? Not really other than it's portability -- this is the kind of thing that, if properly loaded with decent apps can probably make a car trip or an extended wait somewhere bearable for the little ones. I knew that going in to this, it would be somewhat useless and unnecessary tech, but I just couldn't say no to my little girl, so, in that sense,...it was worth it.

My grandson loves it. It's a great camera, plus he's crazy about the games he can play. He can also tell time. Like I said it's more than just a great camera.

This is for Christmas so not sure yet but it looks really cool and I think he'll really like it. Plus it looks like it wouldn't get broken easily.

I purchased for my kid as a surprise gift. She will enjoy this as much as I thought.

Good watch slash tablet for the price nice watch to teach children to tell time

Purchased this for my niece who is 6 years old. She seemed to enjoy the camera function of the watch. I rated it 4 instead of 5 stars for the simple fact that I think the watch could have had more educational features associated with it, which is the reason I purchased the Vtech product. All in all, it's still a good gift for younger kids to enjoy and play with.

This is a pretty cool little gadget. Seems to be high quality and my 7 year old daughter loves it. She wears it all the time. I recommend this product.

Pretty interesting gadget. Daughter seems to have fun with it. It does glitch out and shut off occasionally.
